Starla stared at her screen in silence. He was leaving in two days.
He was maintaining the perfect distance.
He knew she despised feeling suffocated right now, and he respected that boundary flawlessly.
Now that he knew Yardley wouldn't dare cross her, he felt secure enough to leave!

Herbert smiled softly, pleased with her approval.
