Who's the One Regretting Now? novel Chapter 92

At that moment, Sharon finally stirred awake by the door. Seeing Edward already awake, she propped herself up against the wall.

Her voice was hoarse as she said, Edcan we start over? Let’s forget about those two years. After all, we both

made mistakes.

Edward stepped out, and she grabbed his arm. However, he shook her off, his expression cold.

I made myself clear last night. Don’t bother playing the sympathy card. Move out of my place today.

Ed, Ed

Sharon followed him. But after spending the night by the door, her limbs went numb, and she fell on the floor.

She assumed that he would turn around like before, offer her a hand, and check on her. But this time, he didn’t even glance back. He just slipped his shoes on and walked out the door.

When Edward finally turned around, Sharon was still on the floor and looked at him with tearful eyes.

Edshe cried out..

But his expression was indifferent, and his eyes carried a cold chill.

If you don’t move out today, don’t blame me for having your stuff thrown out.

With that, Edward left and slammed the door shut behind him.

Inside the house, Sharon lay on the floor and sobbed uncontrollably. She angrily pounded the ground a few

times.

She refused to accept this. There was no way she was letting her relationship with Edward end like that.

In the underground parking garage, Edward got into his car and drove straight to the Fowler residence. On the

way, he called Nolan to check on Yosef’s condition.

After learning that Yosef had taken his medicine and was feeling much better, Edward finally let out a breath of

relief.

After hanging up, he quickly contacted Nathan and told him to bring a lawyer to the Fowler residence as soon as

his workday began.

Half an hour later, Edward’s car pulled up in front of the estate.

Nolan was already waiting at the entrance to greet him. Mr. Fowler, breakfast is ready. Why don’t you join Mr. Fowler Senior later?he suggested.

Edward grunted in acknowledgment and walked toward the main hall through the long, ornate hallways.

At that moment, Yosef was sitting at the head of the table, sipping tea. He glanced up at the sound of

approaching footsteps.

Grandpa,Edward greeted as he stepped inside.

Get on your knees,Yosef said flatly as he set down his teacup.

Edward tightened his fiats, then slowly stepped forward and kneeled at his grandfather’s order.

Yosef hadn’t made him kneel to admit his mistakes since he was a kid. Edward wondered what had happened.

He considered if Yosef was furious about Macie using fake documents to deceive him.

Grandpa, I apologize on Macie’s behalf. She didn’t mean to do that. She just got carried away because she was

upset with me,Edward said with his head bowed.

Hearing that, Yosef grabbed his cane and struck him twice. 1

Edward’s arm throbbed with pain from the blows, but he silently endured it.

You still don’t see it, do you?Yosef snapped.

He went on, You used to hate your father for cheating on your mother and having an illegitimate child. You

even blamed him for making her so miserable that it ultimately led to her death.

And yet, look at you now. How are you any different from your father? You bring your mistress home, and now

your wife wants a divorce. What’s the difference between you and him?

Edward was frozen in place, his mind blank. Had he really turned into his fatherthe very man he loathed?

He wanted to deny it and say that he wasn’t like his father, but the words caught in his throat. Overcome with

Edward had an ambiguous relationship with Sharon. He let her into his home, allowed her to sleep in Macie’s

room, and ultimately drove his wife away.

Somewhere along the way, he’d become just like his scumbag father.
