Too Late to Hold Me Back novel Chapter 878

"Sienna, let me make this very clear," Liora snapped, breaking the silence. "The guys you just listed are top-tier. They have their own pride and standards. A catch like Mira could date any one of them and it would be perfect. But if she tried playing games and dating multiple guys at once, every single one of them would walk away."

"What if she offered them enough money?" Sienna challenged.

"Money wouldn't change a thing," Mira answered coldly. "Men like that have too much self-respect. If they want something, they earn it themselves. They aren't interested in being someone's well-paid accessory."

Still reeling from the bizarre conversation, the group finally arrived at Mira's apartment building.

"This is it. Let's head up," Mira said.

"Are you sure Grandma Eleanor won't mind the intrusion?" Celine asked, still deeply worried that Sienna would say something completely inappropriate and humiliate them all.

"Not at all. She loves having people over," Mira reassured her.

As they stepped inside, they were greeted by a massive spread of fresh fruits laid out on the coffee table.

"You must be Celine! And Liora! It's so wonderful to finally meet you both," Rachel greeted them with a warm, welcoming smile.

"Hi, Rachel."

"Rachel!"

"And who is this lovely girl?" Rachel asked.

"This is Celine's cousin, Sienna. She's visiting with us," Mira explained.

"Wonderful, just wonderful! I'm going to cook up an absolute feast for you girls tonight," Rachel beamed.

"I've been dreaming about your cooking, Rachel," Liora said excitedly.

"Are you sure it isn't too much trouble?" Celine asked, glancing at Mira. They had originally planned to eat out because she didn't want to burden Rachel and Martha with extra work.

"Nonsense! Having a full house makes me happy," Rachel insisted.

"Just keep it simple, Rachel," Mira added gently. "And we really need to hire another housekeeper to help you out soon."

"Where's Grandma Eleanor?" Mira asked Rachel.

"She's still resting."

Mira turned to her friends. "You guys should take a breather too. There are guest rooms down the hall."

"I'm good just crashing on the couch," Celine said, already sinking into the plush cushions.

"She's so sweet," Liora whispered back.

Eleanor instantly clicked with the girls, diving into lively conversation. Before long, Mira found herself completely sidelined, unable to get a single word in.

Meanwhile, Rachel and Martha retreated to the kitchen to prep for dinner. Between the guests, the household staff, and the security team, they were cooking for well over a dozen people tonight.

Mira slipped into the kitchen to check on them. "If it's too much work, just order catering from that restaurant down the street," she offered softly.

Half an hour later, the front door clicked open. Owen strode in, flanked closely by the Iron Wolves.

Sienna, who had been chatting with Eleanor, froze mid-sentence. Her jaw practically dropped to the floor as she openly stared at the three men. She looked like she was about to start drooling again. "Oh my god," she gasped loudly. "They're gorgeous! Three absolute tens! I've never seen men this insanely hot."

Celine elbowed her sharply in the ribs. "Stop embarrassing us!" she hissed furiously. "Wipe that pathetic look off your face."

When Sienna barely registered the warning, Liora grabbed her arm and physically covered her eyes with one hand.

"That is Mira's fiancé. Put your tongue back in your mouth," Liora snapped.

Reluctantly, Sienna allowed herself to be turned away, though she still looked entirely dazed.

Oblivious to the chaotic reactions, Owen didn't even glance in their direction. He headed straight down the hall to change his clothes. Eleanor, however, was thoroughly startled. The older woman sat there, eyes wide as she took in the bizarre spectacle Sienna had just created.
