Too Late to Hold Me Back novel Chapter 1015

"You should really stop doing so many despicable things."

"In this world, I doubt anyone has committed as many atrocities as you have."

"Instead of worrying about how to harm others, you should think about what you'll face after death—burning in hell, having your tongue torn out, and enduring endless torture. Actually, a copper saw would suit someone like you perfectly."

"Day in and day out, year after year, slowly sawing you into countless pieces in an infinite loop..."

Mishka gritted her teeth. "If I ever catch you, I will make sure you beg for life and pray for death."

Mara Mercer glanced behind her, offering timely comfort. "Given your noble status, why waste your breath getting angry at someone like her?"

Then she looked at Mira. "It's only been a year, and you already don't recognize me?

I never imagined you would become this cowardly. You don't even have the courage to get close to me."

Mara deliberately tried to provoke Mira.

"I already told you I don't have a sister. Do you two have too much time on your hands?

Stop beating around the bush. Tell me, why did you bring me here today?"

"Your good friend, Harvey Rivers' sister, is in my hands. Do you want to know where she is right now?"

Mara said with a smirk.

"Where is she?"

"Come here. Get a little closer, and I'll tell you."

"No, I'm not going over there. I'm not like Mishka, picking up any piece of trash and bringing it home.

Look at you. You're only nineteen, but you look older than someone in their fifties. If I get too close, I might catch whatever you have."

Mira wasn't lying; it was the absolute truth.

Mishka, who was standing beside Mara, subconsciously stepped further away from her.

"Besides, looking at your sallow complexion, you definitely have some sort of filthy disease. Maybe even multiple diseases.

As for her father going on a rampage over this, they would deal with that later.

Mishka fell into a pool of blood, her eyes wide with disbelief. How did they dare? How could they do this? This was her own territory.

Before coming out today, her father had clearly assured her that they wouldn't dare lay a hand on her here.

Mara had explosives strapped to her body. If a bullet hit her torso, it would detonate instantly. Even if it wasn't fatal, the deadly pathogens she carried could have splattered and infected them all.

Yet they had executed a perfect headshot! From thirty feet away, how was their aim so deadly accurate?

Mishka's wide eyes stared blankly, unable to close. In her final moments, she finally understood why Mira was still alive despite all the elite assassins they had sent after her.

Unfortunately, she realized it too late.

Jax Weaver and the others went over, collected the dead guards' weapons, and sprinkled a dash of Necrotic Catalyst on each of them.

"If there is a next life..."
