"We're in foreign territory without any official backup. If we stay in Penang, we won't just fail to find him—we might walk right into a trap. Sticking around will only do more harm than good."
Captain Quinn fell silent. He knew Alex was right. Staying in the city was pointless; it would only drain their time and resources, and put their lives at risk.
But leaving felt like a bitter pill to swallow. The injustice of it burned in his gut.
