Tallulah Shipley noticed Yulen's constant fixation on Winona's affairs. Desperate to pull his attention back to her, she deliberately brought up their son.
"Yulen, you've been so buried in work lately. You barely have time for Stanley. If you're free this Saturday, why don't we take him to the park? It would be nice to get some sun together as a family."
Yulen, already in a foul mood, brushed her off. "My mother and the nanny take him out every day. He doesn't need us tagging along just to get some fresh air."
Tallulah pressed, trying to keep her tone light. "But we're his parents. We need to spend time with him, to bond."
"My role is to mold him to take over my empire," Yulen said with sheer arrogance. "I'm going to put him at the very top of the food chain. You women can worry about the trivial, day-to-day childcare."
Tallulah bit her tongue, a bitter wave of frustration washing over her. Since marrying him, she still had zero say in his private life or his finances. Being expected to blindly obey his every command made this marriage feel incredibly suffocating. But she couldn't leave him. All she could do was bank on the hope that once their second child was born, Yulen might finally change.

Winona Jowett and Stefan Goddard arrived home. Spotting a package by the door, Winona casually brought it inside.
She grabbed a pair of scissors and sliced through the tape. Inside was a strangely lightweight box. Frowning, she tried to remember what she had ordered—just a pair of sneakers recently, but this box was far too small for shoes. Still, the shipping label clearly had her name on it.
Winona lifted the lid. Her pupils dilated in sheer horror, and she instinctively hurled the box across the room.
Stefan rushed over. "What is it?"
His eyes landed on the spilled contents, and his expression instantly turned glacial. Scattered on the floor was a heavily edited, gruesome obituary photo of Winona, covered in vicious, blood-red death threats.
Stefan silently gathered the items, placed them back into the box, and walked out the door to hand it to Ezra Vane. "Run a trace on this. Find out exactly who sent it."
Ezra nodded grimly and took the package.
When Stefan returned to the living room, Winona was still pale. He pulled her into a tight, grounding embrace. "Once I find out who's behind this sick joke, I'm going to make them pay."
Winona took a deep, shaky breath, forcing herself to calm down. "I'm okay. But whoever did this must really despise me to send something like this on my birthday."
She thought for a moment. "Do you think it could be Tallulah?" With Ophelia Powell out of Riverton, Tallulah was the only one left with a visible vendetta against her.
"I'll have the team look into her immediately."
Winona went to take a warm shower. By the time she finished and had a glass of milk, her nerves had settled. Stefan set his phone on the nightstand, playing soft white noise to help her relax, and pressed a lingering kiss to her forehead. "Get some sleep."
