A FEW DAYS LATER: 

The past few days have been filled with radio silence, and I didn’t even know what to say or do anymore. It was days like this that I was I had some type of guidance from my parents but they hadn’t spoken to me since both them and Jones family came to the house that night. 

I was appalled that my mother despised Hannah to the extent that she wasn’t even excited to see her grandchildren. I knew Mr and Mrs Jones hated Hannah as well but not even hearing that they have grandchildren could even soften them up. 

What could she have done to make them that upset? 

Words couldn’t describe how horrible I felt that night when they were snapped at me. I really just wanted to throw a fit or break down into tears, as just as they blamed me, I blamed myself even more. I wish I wasn’t so addicted to alcohol then, I wish I wasn’t so obsessed with getting Janet that I was blinded and couldn’t see a gem in front of 

Looking at her everyday these past few days have been so surreal even though she was different now. She was so gorgeous I found a way to tell her that even though I got ignored most of the time. She was such a mum too, it was the most beautiful sight, taking care of them, listening to them. Her dedication to her work was also attractive. I was falling in love with her and it was crazy because we didn’t even have a conversation yet. 

I planned to bring up schools options I had jotted out and present it to her, I made sure they were top notch. I just hoped she would look into them and we could actually talk. I also wanted to ask her permission to take Andrew to the game, I really just wanted a relationship and I knew with time, everything will work. 

At least I hoped I didn’t mess things up. 

It was currently after work hours and I decided to stop buy for some pasteries and ice-cream. I had overheard the kids talking and Andrew was teasing Amelia for liking lemon flavored ice-cream and she retorted calling him basic for liking plain flavors like vanilla. So I got all those in large quantity and chocolate chip ice-cream for Hannah, with the hope to get them to watch a movie with me. 1 

I also watched yourube videos on how to make popcorn so I got the ingredients as well. 

What the…. How did she know their names? 

“Though I truly am sorry for everything that happened. Don’t you ever threaten either my kids or my wife ever again.” I snapped out of irritation and I could see the hurt in her eyes as I addressed Hannah as my wife but I didn’t even care enough, so I just walked off to pay. 

But just soon enough, she ran towards me and scratched the little part at the bag of my neck that was revealing and hit my back, yelling and causing a scene and my security quickly rushed towards her. 

“I hate you! You’re going to pay!” She continued screaming and the mall’s security officers also rushed towards 

I had never seen her like this and I was genuinely concerned for her. I gestured to my security to pay and bring it in while I fixed up my shirt and walked off. 

I should have rented out the entire mall before coming in.
