His eyelashes fluttered against her palm, tickling her skin. Watching him stubbornly refuse to sleep, Juno felt a strong urge to just knock him out with a quick chop to the neck.

She had never been a patient person.

Just as she raised her hand to do exactly that, Miles rushed in, looking absolutely horrified as he grabbed her wrist. "Absolutely not, Ms. Mercer!"

He knew exactly how much force she packed. If she hit him, his boss wouldn't wake up until next week.

Juno dropped her hand, looking down at the man in bed. "Are you going to sleep or not?"

Chuck finally closed his eyes.
