The True Heiress: Legend Mode novel Chapter 35

The man tried to yank his arm back, but quickly realized it was useless.

This slender, unassuming girl had a grip like solid steel.

"Who the fuck are you?"

She didn't answer his question. Instead, she said, "Stay away from him from now on."

The burly man burst into manic laughter. "Hahahaha! And who the hell do you think you are, telling me what to do?!"

Ignoring his mockery, she didn't flinch. Her tone was deadpan. "Let's make a bet. We each get one free shot. If you win, you can do whatever you want with him. If I win, he leaves with me."

Still sprawled on the dirt, Claud stared at her, utterly baffled by her logic.

The giant glanced back at his cronies, smirking. Rich kids really are brain-dead, aren't they?

He agreed instantly, absolute certainty shining in his eyes. He condescendingly patted her cheek and let out a lewd chuckle. "I've already won!"

His gang roared with sycophantic laughter.

There was no way her punch could do anything to him.

Watching from the sidelines, a deeply unsettling aura of violence began rolling off Morgan.

Claud's eyes went red with fury. He couldn't stand seeing someone disrespect her like this!

If she got hurt because of him, he'd never forgive himself.

Morgan, keeping his expression neutral, knew exactly how she operated. He calmly pulled a solid glass ashtray from his pocket and handed it over. A flash of pure brutality crossed her eyes as she grabbed it and viciously smashed it into the side of the big man's head.

The impact sent stars bursting across his vision, his ears ringing wildly.

But she wasn't done. Driving her heel forward, she delivered a devastating front kick straight to his chest.

The massive man flew backward like a broken doll, crashing through a wooden table. Beer bottles shattered in every direction, sending shards of glass flying.

His arms and face were instantly covered in bloody, ragged cuts.

The laughter from his gang died instantly.

He lay groaning on the ground, struggling to raise a hand to his throbbing head. When he pulled it away, his palm was soaked in blood.

Juno casually tossed the bloody ashtray aside. It hit the dirt with a heavy thud.

She pulled a clean handkerchief from her pocket and wiped her hands, her face totally blank. "Yep. You win," she deadpanned, throwing his earlier words back at him.

She sounded as if she were commenting on the weather.
