"You!" Bianca scoffs, rendered completely speechless. She glares at the insufferable man.

He just smiles back at her, looking incredibly smug about thwarting her advances. It makes her blood boil. Left with no other choice, she huffs in annoyance, scans the payment code, and transfers a hefty sum of money. She pays the bill, yet she doesn't even get the handsome guy's number. What an absolute humiliation!

"Mr. Traller, I have matters to attend to. Enjoy the rest of your drink!" she snaps.

"Will do," Coen replies smoothly.

Seeing that he isn't the least bit embarrassed and is still sporting that charming smile, Bianca grabs her purse and storms off in a huff. Whatever. We have plenty of time. Once I report to the Dennis Group, I'll figure out a way to conquer him.

Watching her stunning silhouette fade into the distance, Coen chuckles and shakes his head. He doesn't take the little interlude to heart. Downing the rest of his drink in one smooth gulp, he stands up and leaves the bar.

Meanwhile, at the Dennis family estate.

His words are harsh, but a trace of undetectable helplessness lingers in his eyes. He sets the snack bowl down, walks over to the floor-to-ceiling window, and stares at the endless stream of traffic below. "We hurt her so deeply. Thinking we can just say a few nice words or buy her some gifts to make everything better is a pipe dream. We probably won't be able to pay back what we owe her in this lifetime."

Alec droops his head like a kicked puppy. "Then what's your plan, Jake? You realized your mistakes way before we did. You must have more experience with this."

Jake turns around, stuffing his hands into his pockets as he slowly paces the room. "Experience? My only experience is knowing that she doesn't want to see a single one of us right now. Do you honestly think hovering around the office and staging 'coincidental' run-ins will soften her heart? You're dead wrong! It'll only annoy her more and make her think we're haunting her like ghosts."

Nikolai snaps his head up, a glimmer of hope flashing in his eyes. "So... you're saying we should back off and give her some space?"
