The Prison-Made Queen novel Chapter 963

Unable to sit still, Yvonne rushed to her brother's side and whispered anxiously, "Milford, why don't you ask your old friends? Did Leilani actually go to Northern Myanor with Mr. Langley? What if something happened to her too?"

Milford immediately walked over to the dining room window. Turning his back to them, he dialed several numbers in quick succession, his voice low but commanding. "...Yes, it's me. I need you to look into the explosion in Mitchina a few days ago. Are there any official or leaked casualty lists? Look for foreigners, specifically those with... just spare no expense. I need the fastest, most accurate intel."

"Well? Any insider news? Was Leilani with him? Is she going to be okay?" Yvonne asked frantically when he finally lowered his phone.

Milford frowned and shook his head. "They've locked down the information tightly. It's too chaotic over there. I can't get any reliable details right now."

He glanced at his sister's desperate face and hesitated. "If you're that worried, call Judie Fulton. Her family is in the private security business. Their channels will definitely uncover more than ours."

"I'll call her right now!" Yvonne immediately grabbed her phone and found Judie's number.

The call connected instantly, as if Judie had been clutching her phone waiting for it to ring.

Judie's voice came through, thick with tears but panicked. "Hello? Yvonne! You... you saw the news too, didn't you?"

"Judie!" Yvonne gripped her phone, her knuckles turning white as if clinging to a lifeline. "I just saw it! Is it real? Is Leilani... was she really with Callahan? What's going on?"

"Mr. Langley is a fighter, and Leilani is the smartest, most level-headed person I know. Together, they could survive anything! This has to be some trashy media outlet trying to get clicks!"

"Exactly! It's totally fake news! Clickbait!" Hearing Yvonne's agreement seemed to solidify Judie's resolve. She drew strength from her friend.

"Yvonne, we can't just sit here and wait!"

"My parents are already pulling strings and using their contacts, but Northern Myanor is a mess, and things are moving too slowly. We need to do something ourselves. Every new lead is a ray of hope!"
