Rumor had it that this particular assistant had been by Mr. Zucker's side for years.
He was essentially the CEO's right-hand man, and his presence often represented Mr. Zucker's direct will.
Since there were a few other women named Stafford in the company, every employee on the floor instantly turned to stare at him.
Ken stood there in a sharply tailored suit, looking perfectly calm and collected.
Perhaps it was because he spent so much time around Alistair, but Celia noticed that some of Ken's mannerisms echoed his boss's intimidating aura.
His gaze swept over the employees before landing directly on Celia.
The moment he saw her, a genuine, polite smile spread across his face.
Ignoring the stares from the entire floor, Ken walked straight over to her desk.
"Hello, Ms. Stafford," Ken said, giving her a respectful nod.
Celia blinked, having no idea what he was doing here.
She forced a smile and nodded back. "Hello."
"Your..." Ken hesitated, carefully choosing his words before continuing, "Your uncle asked me to bring you some lunch."
With that, Ken handed her a high-end takeout container.
Celia's eyes widened, completely caught off guard.
Ken coughed lightly. "Your uncle said you're still recovering from your cold and need to make sure you eat on time."
Taking the box, Celia finally snapped out of her daze. She offered an awkward laugh. "Thank you, Ken. And thank him for me..."
Ken nodded. His gaze then shifted from Celia to Larry, who was standing nearby.
Larry was staring at the lunchbox, his face looking a bit green.
"Mr. Lambert, you certainly eat early," Ken said, a faint, unreadable smile on his lips. His tone was perfectly pleasant. "When I came downstairs earlier, I noticed you were already in the cafeteria well before the official lunch hour began."
