Celia walked into the room, carrying her single-page resume.

Meanwhile, on the ground floor of Zucker Corporation.
Alistair had been out handling business all morning and was only just arriving at the office.
Spotting him, the receptionist bowed respectfully. "Mr. Zucker."
Alistair gave a brief nod. "Has she been here?"
The receptionist blinked in confusion. "Who?"
Realizing his vagueness, he clarified, "Celia."
"Oh, yes, yes!" the receptionist quickly replied. "Ms. Stafford went up to the third-floor conference room for her interview."
Alistair frowned slightly. "I see."
Without another word, he stepped into the elevator and hit the button for the third floor.
--
Inside the third-floor conference room.
Three interviewers sat across from Celia, her single-page resume resting near their hands. The awe in their eyes was impossible to hide.
Even under grueling, high-pressure questions, the young woman spoke with effortless eloquence. Her smile was perfectly poised, and she dismantled their complicated scenarios piece by piece, offering highly targeted, innovative solutions.
Even when they intentionally threw curveballs to trip her up, she simply offered a polite smile and seamlessly delivered the optimal strategy.
Glancing down at her sparse resume with immense satisfaction, the lead interviewer cleared his throat, attempting to maintain a stern facade. "Ms. Stafford, I must ask. We don't have any record of your initial application in our system prior to today."
"May I ask who referred you to Zucker Corp?"
Celia parted her lips, just about to answer.
Suddenly, a commotion erupted outside the conference room.
The interviewers frowned, wondering what was going on.
Just as one of them moved to open the door, it swung wide open.
Alistair, dressed in a sharp, impeccably tailored suit, stepped into the room.
