The Platonic Trap novel Chapter 10

Calmly turning on her hazard lights, Celia picked up her phone to call the police.

The driver of the sports car stepped out, storming toward her vehicle with a face twisted in absolute fury. He hammered his fists against her window, screaming obscenities. "Open the door! Get out here! You wanna die, bitch?!"

Celia rolled down the window just enough to lock eyes with his enraged, menacing face.

"Do you even know how to fucking drive?! Look what you did to my car! Do you have any idea how much this costs?! I could sell you and it still wouldn't cover the damages!"

While screaming threats at her, the man's eyes kept leering inappropriately at her body.

Celia let out a soft laugh. With one hand dialing the authorities, she casually extended her other arm out the window.

The driver stopped yelling for a second, looking at her in confusion.

She slowly raised her hand, extending a single middle finger. Tilting her head slightly, she mouthed a perfectly articulated curse word right in his face. Then, she lazily rolled the window back up.

The driver stood frozen in shock before absolutely erupting in rage. He clenched his fists, screaming hysterically as he began punching her window over and over, looking entirely unhinged.

"Hello, there's been an accident at the intersection of Windsor Avenue in the city center. Please send an officer immediately."

Celia reported the accident with eerie calm, sitting comfortably as she waited for the authorities to arrive.

Outside, the humiliated driver's eyes were bloodshot. He was in a feral frenzy, violently pounding on her glass.

Bored, Celia glanced at her rearview mirror.

Traffic was light for a weekend, making the sleek black car stopped directly behind her incredibly obvious.

A sharp, calculating gleam flashed in Celia's eyes. Glancing back at the raging maniac outside her window, a brilliant plan instantly formulated in her mind.
