Ch 213

Misha

She’d been taken out shopping by the girls of her unit for this full moon, and Carol had encouraged her to step away from how she would normally dress, reminding her that she was already dressing on a normal day differently from before

The four of them had sat and looked at dresses online, and the girls had taken note of the dresses she’d looked at and stated were pretty, beautiful or stunning, but then dismissed them as too over the top or too expensive, and unbeknownst to her, they’d called ahead to many of the dress stores and lined a few of the dresses up for her to try on

Now she was standing in a bridal store in a lovely flowing blue gown that was more revealing than she would normally wear, but she recalled seeing it in their online browsing, it was a blue ombre but had this brilliantly beaded flare that ran from the left shoulder down two narrow straps and down the left side of the sweetheart neckline and waist down over the hip, in dark blue beading and crystals, and had many tiered layers to the dress that flowed down to touch the floor.

She stood looking at herself in it, and she had to admit she really did like it, and she’d never worn anything like it before in her life, and it left room for Declan to mark her easily. But she’d told Declan she’d wear pack colors. “It’s not the right color,” she’d stated.

“But you like it,” Carol had commented, “so you can wear it.”

“I stated I’d wear the company colors,” she reiterated.

“I don’t think Declan is going to care Misha, if you don’t wear grey and white,” Kitty had commented, and then, to prove it, she’d dialed Declan’s number as a way to stop Misha from taking the dress off and not buying it.

“What’s up Kitty?” Declan had asked.

“Does Mish have to wear company colors on the 25th?” she’d asked. Keeping everything in human terms seeing as they were out in public.

“Not at all, and start looking for her wedding dress while you’re out there, and Kitty I want her to choose something beautiful as well, not white though, and go full glamour. I want her to stand out and shine and be the most beautiful woman in the world on that day. As for the price of both her engagement and wedding dresses, the sky is the limit,” he’d stated, and she’d even heard the smile in his voice.

Kitty had smiled at her as she’d ended the call. “See anything you want, whatever color you

want. And we can tailor things to the dress. The flowers are already white. All we need to add

is some blue and that’s sorted out.”

Misha had turned and looked at herself in the mirror once more as she’d contemplated the dress she was wearing and if she wanted to wear it, and Laud had stated ‘We are a different person now, no more will we be hidden. Selena wants to see us shine. Get this one.’

Misha had nodded. “Alright, we’ll take this dress.” She stated to the girls who’d all smiled at

her.

‘Laud for the Luna Ceremony I want you to pick. Wild was gifted to you by Selena, so the

choice should be yours.’ She told her wolf.

Laud was quiet for a moment, then said, ‘I no where clothes.’

‘No, but I am you, you are me. So… you pick, not only a color you like, but the style as well. Everything is your choice for the Luna Ceremony, seeing as I picked this dress.’

‘You might not like that, Laud snorted.

‘I will wear it regardless, Misha stated, “We’ll hold off on the Luna Ceremony until after the pup is born, so you’ve got time to find something you like, whether we buy it or have it made.’

‘Okay, I make moon goddess proud, and she’ll not miss us,’ Laud told her, and Misha felt happiness roll through her wolf at being told she could choose the dress for their Luna Ceremony. It was likely not many wolves got a say in that very thing.

The only thing she saw being an issue was Declan agreeing to put it off until after their pup was born, but she was certain she could sway him into that. A smile played at her lips. Yes, once that mate bond kicked in for him, she was damned certain he could be swayed.

They bought the dress and matching shoes as well, then ate a meal out where Declan and his unit joined them. He sat right next to her and turned and smiled at her. “What does your engagement dress look like?” he asked.

She shook her head. “It’s blue. You’ll see it on the day.” She smiled. “No more digging.”

He’d chuckled, and they’d had a nice meal out. Kitty and Holland had gone off to get their cars after the meal and Declan had pulled her into him out on the sidewalk, so she was leaning back against him. “Did you look at Luna Ceremony Dresses?” he asked.

“No, I have given that decision to Laud. She’s going to pick the dress for that day. On that note, I want to put that off until after the baby is born.”

“Hmm… I want to arc up at that but at the same time, I want to give you what it is you want; the Luna Ceremony is for you.”

She turned around in his arms and smiled up at him. “I’ll make a deal with you, you give me what I want, and I’ll give you something in return.”

“Now I like the sound of that,” he smiled. “But I don’t need you to give me anything. Kiss me, and you can have it the full moon after you’ve given birth with no complaint.”

She grabbed his tie, pulled his mouth down to hers and kissed him softly, lingeringly and leaned into him when he deepened it just a little before pulling away and murmuring “Best I stop there or everyone will see how much I don’t want to stop.”

She laughed softly, and he hugged her, and she hugged him back. “Thank you.”

“You don’t have to thank me. I want you to have everything. As for your Luna Jewelry, I’ll make it simple but elegant like your bangle. Do you prefer diamonds or pearls?” he asked.

“Hmm,” she thought about it, only to have Laud tell her ‘Rubies.’ She chuckled softly and looked at him. “Laud wants rubies.”

“Then rubies it will be,” he stated, “with diamonds.” He added, and they went their separate ways, him back to the head office and herself to the pack. She hung that dress bag in the walk-in with the shoes.

It was a busy few days of planning and helping prep the area behind the packhouse for the full moon. There was no ballroom here, so she and the girls were very busy, but finally it was all ready, and just in time for her to be walked out of the packhouse to stand on the front steps next to Declan as Nicholas and Lucinda arrived, the day before the full moon.

It was all of them, both units out here to do the meet and greet, and she smiled as she watched Nick and Lucinda get out of their car, along with Jeremy and Faylan, then Kevin and Phoebe, and Braidy and Amy, the three cars trailing them had all their children climbing out of those cars or being helped out by their omega’s.

She’d set them all up in family suites, because she knew they were bringing their children. A mini-vacation is what most pack’s children considered going to an allied pack. It was always exciting for them to go to another pack.

Nick walked up the stairs with Lucina and greeted them. “Well now, don’t you two look lovely standing there together.”

“Looks to me that you’ll be choosing each other in front of the pack tomorrow.” Lucinda smiled and stepped over to hug her. “I’m glad you’re doing better than okay. You’re practically glowing.” She smiled.

Mish looked to Nick, and he shook his head ever so slightly, and she understood that he’d not imparted the news to his own Mate yet. That was interesting to her. Maybe he thought it was

only right to come from herself and Declan when they were ready to impart that news.

She let it go, they’d find out soon enough. “There is some news to officially impart to the pack tomorrow night. I thought it fitting that you all be here, seeing as I only know Mish, because you chose for her to come here and stay within my pack, deemed me worthy of protecting her.” Declan nodded. “Now let’s get you all settled in and then.” He looked to the children.” You can all go play and have fun, I had the snow cleared from the playground just for you.”

He smiled down at them all.

“Yay.” Many of them stated, and as they walked them to their suites, Lucinda slipped her arm through Misha’s.

“Any more visits from Selena?” she asked, sounding curious.
