The Eclipsed Life of Luna Mischa (by Jennifer Francis) novel Chapter 214

Ch 214

Declan

He stood waiting for Misha to step out of their bedroom. This would be the last time shed do that without his Mark, and filigree adorning her neck. The full moon was going to set in just one hours’ time, he and Wild’s patience was being tested right this very minute. He had steadfastly not looked at that dress hanging inside his walk-in.

No, not his, their walk-in. All her things had been moved in there the very day she’d woken up inside that suite, she’d organized it herself, and he’d just smiled when it had happened. Nothing could make him happier than Mish living with him, and he’d not been made to keep

his hands to himself.

Laud hadn’t made Wild keep his paws to himself either, and they’d not, but his own beast had surprised him with just how gentle he could be with Laud in human form. How he’d let Laud take control of them mating in their bed.

The door to their bedroom opened and there she was, his eyes moved over her, taking her in. She smiled at him and then turned around for him to see that dress in all its splendor, a lovely dress that hugged her bust and waist and then fell in lovely layers down her body. He liked the color of it on her, and it was stunning. He heard Wild growl all wantonly inside his mind.

She’d done her own hair and make-up and, though it was very natural, and the hairstyle quite simple, it suited her and who she was. It also allowed for that dress she wore to stand out completely, and it was a show stopper.

She looked amazing in that dress, and even the way she’d done her hair, which was parted off to the side and neatly swept back into a short braid before it was tied off and then fell down her back in large curls, that he thought matched the dress perfectly.

“Stunning Mish.” He murmured and walked over to her, only to have her place her fingers over his mouth when he leaned down to kiss her.

“None of that now,” she chuckled.

He growled at her in response to stopping him. He wanted more than anything to kiss her right now. She laughed and gave him a little push away, “Later.” She told him, “We should go downstairs or Kitty and the others will come hunting for me.”

He nodded because they likely would, so he refrained himself and took a step back. Did as she did, put one foot behind himself and spun himself around, spread his arms a little wide, to show off his pack suit he was wearing. He wore black polished shoes, dark grey pants and a white dress shirt with a single-button double vest of dark and light grey with a black, grey

and white striped tie to tie it all together.

She smiled. “Devilishly handsome.” She stated and walked over and slipped her hand through the crook of his elbow, and they left the suite to go downstairs. They took the elevator and walked down the hall and outside the night was clear and crisp, but he knew she was all good with that. He’d also made sure there was a shawl hanging on her chair.

He’d been worried about her being out there in the cold of the late November night, and she’d handed him a white shawl, and told him that it could be down there though she doubted

she’d needed it.

He knew there were enough long tables here to seat the entire pack, and he’d advised them all to bring coats to wrap their pups up in something warm and made sure all those that didn’t have wolves also wore winter wears. The tables out here were decorated in pack colors, and he was using tonight as a gauge for the layout for her official Luna Ceremony.

Though he’d added a little surprise for her to everything she’d done, seeing as she and the girls had done most of the work with Lisa and Anne, to prep this area. The moment she’d gone upstairs to start getting ready, Declan had, had fairy lights strung up from the packhouse doorway that they would walk out of, and stretched then across the area over all the tables in a fanned out manner to give it a little bling.

She smiled as they walked out to greet everyone and then looked at him. “Hiding things from

me.” She teased him a little.

“Just one,” he smiled down at her. “I only added a little sparkle.”

“I like it, it’s very pretty.” She nodded.

All of the pack was out here waiting for them to arrive, and already there was lots of laughing and talking. Everyone was mingling amongst themselves and appeared happy to be here for this occasion; of them voicing a chosen claim upon each other. The entire pack was in for a shock when that moon set and this was what they’d planned.

He walked her right to the dance floor that had been laid, and the music started the moment they stepped on to it, and he spun her out for all to see that dress and then twirled her back to him and slid a hand to her waist and pulled her in close to him and danced her around on that dance floor to the waltz that was being played.

though she’d asked for red wine, and he’d thought that was a bit heavy for an occasion like this, and the celebration needed bubbles, he’d managed to order in Australian Sparkling Shiraz from Astor Wines in New York, had a dozen cases of it shipped to his pack.

She was handed the glass of sparkling red and looked from it to him, and he smiled. “You like red, I did some research and this was the result. I pretty much bought out the entire store,” he stated. “I hope you like it. I didn’t really know but, thought bubbles were important and human wine, well you can still drink that.”

She nodded, and he watched her taste it. She seemed to think about it and then nodded. “Not bad.” She smiled. “Red and bubbles confuses my brain but I like it. Thank you for thinking about something like this.”

He leaned down and kissed her softly. “Always,” he told her, and he likely would because he wanted her to be happy experience new things with him, so that meant finding new ways to surprise her
