She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 371

The owner of Blossom's Diner was an old acquaintance of Elena’s father.

Elena herself was a regular at Blossom's Diner—she loved to bring Celine along for meals, and the staff always treated Elena with a special deference, almost as if she were a VIP.

That connection gave Celine an idea: through Elena, she could track down the pianist from the video and negotiate a deal. Money could fix anything. There was nothing that couldn’t be solved with the right amount of cash.

As this thought took root, Celine began to hatch a plan.

Looping her arm through Elena’s, she flashed her sweetest smile.

“Elena, did you know Hyatt was at Blossom’s Diner the other day? I can’t believe I missed him—what a shame!”

Before Elena could answer, Celine shifted the conversation.

“I’d really love to see him. Is there any way you could get the security footage from the day we were there? I want to see when he dropped by.”

Elena shot her a suspicious look.

“Watching security tapes sounds so boring. Just wait another three weeks and you’ll get to meet him in person. Up close, too.”

She hesitated, realizing she’d left a loophole in her explanation, and quickly added,

“Actually, you won’t have to wait that long—he’ll be rehearsing for his concert soon, so you’ll probably see him before then.”

But Celine wouldn’t give up that easily. With a few more coaxing words and a little flattery, she convinced Elena to promise she’d get the footage from Blossom’s Diner as soon as possible.

With that settled, Celine finally felt at ease.

The two of them, giddy with excitement, spent the afternoon tearing through the boutiques, snatching up armfuls of clothes and jewelry without a second thought. After a decadent dinner, they finally parted ways and headed home.

As soon as Celine got back, she sat down at her piano and pulled up the video, determined to master the piece. If she couldn’t play it exactly like the pianist in the video, her cover would be blown in no time.

She took a deep breath and tried to collect herself, picking the phone up off the floor. The screen, on her brand-new phone from just last month, was already spidered with hairline cracks.

She opened WhatsApp. It was a message from Marshall.

[Are you the Piano Girl Hyatt’s looking for?]

The message lit up her mood. Harper Group had been going through a rough patch lately, and Marshall had been too busy to even text her. This was the first time they’d spoken in over two weeks.

She replied instantly, not even hesitating.

[Yes, Marshall. He’s even invited me to be his guest performer.]

Celine was sure Marshall would be thrilled for her. After all, getting close to Hyatt was something most people could only dream of.

He wasn’t just Hyatt—he was the son of Luther Holcomb, head of the Holcomb family, one of Crowncrest City’s most powerful dynasties.
