She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 363

They had barely returned to the classroom after lunch when a wave of shocking, electric news swept through the room.

“Did you hear? Big news—Hector’s dead!” one student shouted, scrolling frantically through his phone.

“Who’s Hector?” someone asked, bewildered.

“Are you living under a rock? He’s the golden boy of Glenwood.”

“Wait, the Glenwood golden boy? That means he’s one of the Watson family, right?”

“Exactly. And he died right here in Veridia.”

“How did it happen?”

“No one's saying for sure. They’re hinting it has something to do with a woman. Check the news—every trending headline is about Hector’s death.”

At that very moment, Sabrina’s phone buzzed with a message from Stella.

[Check the news. He’s dead.]

[Yeah, I know.]

Hector’s death set the entire internet ablaze.

Kaden and his wife rushed to Veridia to get answers.

The authorities in Veridia immediately flagged the case as a high priority.

The initial autopsy claimed Hector had died from a lethal mix of drug overdose and extreme indulgence.

Kaden, arriving in Veridia, rejected the findings outright. There was no way his son would use drugs.

He’d drilled it into all his children from a young age: gambling, drugs, and vice were life-ruining vices—never to be touched.

He knew Hector had always been surrounded by women.

He was a man himself; he understood Hector’s appetite for pleasure.

He’d only ever warned him to be careful, to protect himself, to stay away from dangerous diseases.

So, claiming Hector died from excess? That, he could believe.

But drugs? Never.

At the Watson estate, Shana was pinned to the floor by bodyguards, unable to move.

Kaden and his wife sat on the sofa. Kaden took a furious drag on his cigar; Mrs. Watson glared at Shana, her eyes red-rimmed and accusing.

With a wave of his hand, Kaden ordered the bodyguards to step aside.

“How did my son die? I want every detail. If you leave anything out, I’ll make sure your entire family pays for it.”

Shana trembled so violently she could barely speak.

She’d already been terrified—now, faced with Kaden’s overwhelming presence, her fear only deepened.

She stammered, choking on tears and snot. “Last night, Hector was in a bad mood. He asked me to have a drink with him. We went out—sang some songs, had a few drinks at the club.”

The memory from last night made her chest tighten with anger.

After Hector was released from the police station and came home, he’d beaten her without warning, blaming her for the scheme that had let Sabrina slip away and landed him in jail.

But she’d tried to warn him the moment she saw the livestream online—he just never answered her calls.

Yet Hector put all the blame on her anyway.
