She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 362

He looked away, the corners of his lips lifting in an involuntary smile, a strange sweetness blooming in his chest.

Caught up in the moment, Shawn forgot about the injury on his back and leaned against his chair as he usually did—out of habit.

“Hiss—!”

The sudden pressure of the chair against his wound sent a sharp pain through him, cold sweat beading on his brow.

His gasp caught Frank and Sabrina’s attention.

“What happened?” they both asked at once.

Shawn shook his head. “Forgot to bring my book…”

Frank: “…”

Sabrina: “…”

At last, the morning classes dragged to an end.

Frank was utterly exhausted, feeling like he could nod off any second. He’d spent all night gaming and only managed two hours of sleep.

As soon as class ended, Shawn’s usual entourage rushed over, falling over themselves to check on him. He silenced them with a single look, then said flatly, “From now on, unless I say otherwise, stop following me everywhere.”

Bruce Taylor blinked, confused. They’d always trailed after Shawn—was he saying he didn’t need them anymore?

“Shawn, if we’re not around, who’s going to clear the way for you? Let us stick with you!” Bruce pleaded.

Neil Holt chimed in with an eager nod. “Yeah, Shawn, you’re the only boss we recognize.”

Shawn watched Frank and Sabrina’s figures recede down the hall. Losing patience, he kicked Bruce in the shin. “Get lost. Don’t you understand plain English?”

With that, he strode off, hurrying to catch up with Frank and Sabrina.

Bruce and Neil exchanged bewildered glances. Had they just been dumped?

Frank slowly turned his head in the direction of the voice, shooting a death glare in their direction.

Through clenched teeth, he spat, “Who are you calling a pig?!”

The laughter died instantly under Frank’s murderous stare.

One of the students stammered out an explanation: “N-no, not you! I was just saying… My mom’s pig had eight adorable piglets last night…”

Frank could hear the sarcasm in his voice. Already irritable, his temper snapped. He threw down his fork and knife and bellowed, “Did you just call me a pig? You’ve got a death wish!”

The group instantly panicked, groveling and apologizing, practically falling to their knees. After all, they’d just noticed who was sitting next to Frank—Shawn himself. They might not know Frank, but everyone recognized Shawn. Anyone who could share a table with him was not someone to mess with.

Sabrina and Shawn locked eyes, both desperately trying to stifle their laughter.

It wasn’t that they lacked sympathy; it’s just that, honestly, Frank’s appearance right now was almost impossible not to laugh at.
