She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 348

“Yes.”

“That bastard! He’s way too arrogant. Does he think this is Glenwood, that he can just do whatever the hell he wants?”

Bryce was seething, tugging at his tie in frustration.

If it were anyone else, he would have already thrown them in cuffs.

But Hector… he was a different beast.

After all, Hector was from Glenwood, and his father, Kaden, practically ran the entire place.

Making a move on Hector would mean stirring up a hornet’s nest—one wrong step and you’d never recover.

Noticing Bryce’s hesitation, Sabrina understood this wasn’t going to be easy.

“So, what’s your plan?” he asked, wanting to hear her out before making his own decision.

“He needs to die. The guy’s tried to have me killed three times—if I don’t fight back, he’ll think I’m some harmless kitten.”

Sabrina’s voice hardened.

“But taking him out won’t be easy. His status makes him untouchable; I can’t confront him openly. Not to mention the endless surveillance and bodyguards…”

She shook her head.

A direct attack was out of the question. Even if she managed to kill Hector, the consequences would be too great.

No. She couldn’t risk getting caught—she still had unfinished business to settle.

Bryce narrowed his eyes, rubbing his chin as his mind raced, piecing together plots from the crime novels he’d devoured lately.

“If we can’t get him in the open, we do this in the shadows. That snake’s been throwing his weight around Veridia, nearly got me killed too—I’m not about to let that slide.”

Sabrina spun her coffee cup between her fingers, mulling it over.

In the shadows, then.

How to slip past all those eyes and make Hector disappear, without leaving a single trace? And with no suspicion falling back on her?

There was only one real way out of this mess—a fall guy.

Suddenly, a name flashed in her mind.

She looked up.

At that moment, Stella was at the hospital, uploading the video she’d taken of Sabrina playing piano at the restaurant.

She’d just posted it online when Sabrina’s call came through.

She smiled to herself—sometimes it felt like they were telepathic.

She glanced around the hospital room.

One guy was sprawled on the bed, the other hunched over a tablet—the two of them locked in a heated video game battle.

She almost felt like a third wheel. Maybe it was time to check herself out—clearly, they didn’t need her looking after them; they were full of energy.

“Stella, you’re still at the hospital?”

“Yeah. Oh, and by the way, I just uploaded that video of you playing piano.”

“Listen—do you have a way to make someone die quietly, no trace left behind, nothing for the coroner to find?”

Sabrina ignored the small talk—she had no head for chit-chat right now.

Stella’s interest was instantly piqued. She answered with one word: “Absolutely.”
