She Left She Thrived She’s Worth Billions novel Chapter 613

"Yes... yes, right away. Understood."

The receptionist hung up, swiftly processed a new check-in, and extended a pristine keycard to Everett.

"Mr. Kingsley, this is the key to the Celestial Star Suite that Mr. Carter has prepared for you. Please enjoy your stay."

Hearing those words, Everett's eyes widened just as comically as Phoebe's.

"This is insane... truly insane. You must be crazy!"

Phoebe pointed furiously at the receptionist.

The receptionist merely glanced at her, eyes brimming with utter disdain.

The whispered gossip around the lobby intensified.

Everett accepted the card in a daze, completely bewildered.

The card was identical to the one in Melanie's hand, save for the room number.

So...

what on earth had he done to deserve such a magnificent suite?

Most importantly...

how had Melanie actually pulled this off?

Everett opened his mouth to ask, but before he could speak, a group of men suddenly strode into the lobby.

From their sheer, intimidating presence alone, it was clear they meant business.

"It's the Carter Group..."

"That's Assistant Brooks..."

"It really is Assistant Brooks!"

Many people in the crowd immediately recognized the sudden arrivals.

The man leading the pack was dressed in a sharp, immaculate suit, his commanding aura far stronger than the men trailing behind him.

He didn't look particularly vicious—in fact, he had rather refined features—but his expression was dead serious.

It was completely absurd and utterly unbelievable.

They refused to believe Melanie hadn't pulled some underhanded strings.

None of the companies invited by the Carter Group felt they were inferior to the Royce Group.

They all viewed the Celestial Star Suites as an unattainable dream, so naturally, they couldn't accept that the Royce Group had the qualifications for them.

Walking through the barrage of staring eyes, Assistant Brooks stepped directly in front of Melanie.

Even though he was just an assistant, his sheer presence made Everett feel a profound sense of danger.

Instinctively, he wanted to step forward, terrified the man was going to hurt her.

But Melanie casually held Everett back.

"Long time no see, Assistant Brooks."

Just as a smile graced Melanie's lips, the tight, serious lines on Jordan's face broke into a perfectly polite grin.

"Long time no see, Ms. Royce."
