After a few moments of catching their breath, Azriel carried her inside the bathroom, and as he placed her slowly on the floor, she felt herself weak, almost losing her balance.

“Easy, little dove. Let me take care of you.” Azriel said, as he started the huge jacuzzi and soon enough, after they removed all their clothes, they were inside the hot water, with her body comfortable in his arms.

They sat in silence, as he caressed her skin. Minutes later, her stomach made a sound which made her blush and him laugh.

“I am sorry, Lora. I never planned to bring you here tonight. My intentions were honest, but you made me go crazy for you. Don’t worry, I will order room-service,” he said, before calling the concierge and placing an order.

After he ordered, he adjusted better behind her, and to her surprise, she felt him hard again.

“I need you again, my dove. You are like a drug to me that it seems that I can’t get enough,” he told

her, as he caressed her neck, kissing it.

“I can’t wait for you to have my mark and carry my pups.”

Elora froze at his words, a wave of reality hitting her again, as she felt her anxiety spiking again. She had no idea how she could tell him about Asher, but before she could think more about the

situation, she felt his hand between her legs, playing with her clit.

As they abandoned themselves to another round of passion, when they left the bathroom, the food

was cold and Lora could barely walk in exhaustion.

Dressed in the hotel’s robes, they started to eat, as Azriel opened the conversation, “So, Mary told

me that you are a doctor? Tell me more about it.”

Elora nodded as she started to tell him about her career as an emergency doctor. After they finished eating, Azriel yawned and told her that they should sleep, to which Elora told him that she should return home.

Azriel frowned his eyebrows in displeasure, but nodded in agreement, “Whatever makes you comfortable, little dove. But I hope that in the coming days you will accept to move into the pack’s territory. For the moment, I can accept to take you home as I don’t want you to feel coerced, but I am an Alpha, and you know what that means: I am jealous, territorial, and I can’t stay away from my

mate.”

“I understand, and I will think about it,” she replied before getting dressed.

Once back inside the car, he asked her where she lived, and after a moment of hesitation she gave him Mary’s address.

She saw as he looked confused at her, “That is Mary’s address.”

“Yes, we are living together.” Elora replied, which left him in shock.

“For how long have you lived together?” he asked.

“Approximately six years,” she replied.

He looked at her in shock, barely able to talk, “Do you want to say that my mate was here all this time, living with one of my pack members and I had no idea?”

She smiled at him, as she replied, “It seems so.”

After he arrived at the cottage and a heated kiss in the car, she made her way towards the entrance, before waving him farewell.

Once inside, despite the late hour, she was not surprised to see Mary waiting for her with a knowing look on her face. After a short conversation, Mary asked her if she had told him about Asher, to which she replied that no.

“You need to tell him, Lora. The sooner, the better,” Mary pleaded.

“I know Mary, but what if after he finds out about Asher, he decides that he doesn’t want me anymore,” Elora said in a low voice. “I just wanted to have a few more moments for myself in his

presence.”

“It is OK sweetie, I know, but you need to tell him,” Mary insisted.

“OK, Mary, I will do it tomorrow.” Elora replied with resignation in her voice, as she stried to prepare mentaly for the next storm.
