Debriefing-1

As the late afternoon sun cast long shadows across the Stormheart estate, Azriel, James, Sky, and Tim gathered in Azriel’s office. The room, with its dark wood paneling and towering bookshelves, was a place of strategy and decision-making, where the weight of leadership was keenly felt. Azriel, seated behind his large mahogany desk, looked at the faces of his trusted friends. They had all been through so much together since their childhood, and now, it was time to catch up on the latest developments within the pack.

Azriel leaned back in his chair, his expression serious yet calm. “Alright, let’s get down to business. I need an update on the pack’s status. How are the travel restrictions due to the pandemic affecting us? Are the pack members complying? And what’s the latest on our business deals and warrior training?”

James, as the Beta, took the lead. He pulled out a tablet, quickly scrolling through his notes before speaking. “The travel restrictions have been challenging, but we’ve managed to keep the pack safe. Most of the pack members are complying well. We’ve implemented mandatory quarantine for anyone who needs to travel outside the territory for essential reasons, and we’ve had minimal

issues. The border patrols are tight, and we don’t have infections, so we’re doing well on that front.

Tim chimed in next, his voice steady and confident. “Regarding business, we’ve had to pivot some

of our strategies due to the pandemic. Our inter-pack trade has taken a hit, but we’ve secured new local partnerships with human companies that are proving fruitful. We’re diversifying our

investments, especially in technology and healthcare, which are booming sectors right now. The

pack’s financial health is stable, and we’re even seeing some growth in certain areas.”

Sky, the Gamma, added, “As for the warrior training, it’s been going strong. We’ve integrated some

new training methods to keep everyone sharp and focused, despite the pandemic. The warriors

are adapting well, and morale is high. We’ve also increased the frequency of our drills to ensure

that everyone is prepared for any potential threats.”

Azriel nodded, satisfied with the reports. “Good work, all of you. It’s crucial that we stay vigilant

and adaptable in these times. Now, Tim,” he said, his tone shifting to one of curiosity and warmth,” how is Dana doing?”

A wide grin spread across Tim’s face, his eyes lighting up with genuine happiness. “Honestly, Azriel, I’ve never been happier. She’s incredible.”

Before Tim could continue, Sky couldn’t resist teasing his friend. “Except for a few, let’s say, heated

exchanges,” Sky remarked with a playful smirk.

Debriefing 1

“Shut up,” Tim shot back, though there was no real heat in his words. His cheeks flushed slightly.”

and he glanced at Azriel, who was now looking even more intrigued.

“What happened?” Azriel asked, his curiosity piqued. He leaned forward slightly, sensing that there was more to the story.

James, shaking his head with a bemused expression, decided to fill in the blanks. “Let’s just say that it took Tim some time to adjust to the fact that he’s married to a top warrior.”

Azriel laughed, “We have female warriors, so why should be an issue?”

Sky grinned as he continued, “Let’s say that Dana’s not just strong, she’s one of the best we’ve got. She matches me, your Gamma, in strength and skill. Tim had to come to terms with the fact that his mate can easily hold her own in a fight… including against any of us and win.”

Azriel looked amused. “But we have many female warriors in the pack. So it’s a win for us.”

Sky and James exchanged a glance before bursting into laughter, while Tim’s face reddened in annoyance. Finally, Sky spoke up, “True, we have many female warriors, but Dana… well, she’s on another level. Let’s just say that Dana’s presence and prowess have sparked a bit of a’ mini-revolution’ among the females in the pack. Many of them are trying to copy her, and the number of females attending the training sessions has skyrocketed. Even the kindergarten teachers are showing up for training now, saying that they need to know how to protect the pups.

It’s insane!”
