After exchanging pleasantries, Dana noticed an older woman approaching. She recognized her from their last encounter, a lively woman with a mischievous glint in her eye.
“Tim, my boy,” the woman greeted her, her voice filled with affection. “Last time you didn’t say a word when you were here with her, you sneaky one. Now, introduce me to your mate.”
Tim’s smile widened. “Aunt Mary, please meet my mate, Dana. Dana, this is my Aunt Mary.”
“It’s a pleasure to meet you,” Dana began, but she was cut off as Aunt Mary pulled her into a warm
hug.
“Welcome to Stormheart, sweetie,” Aunt Mary said, stepping back to measure Dana with an analyzing eye. “I believe you’re in need of some clothes.”
Dana smiled shyly, touched by the older woman’s warmth. Tim intervened, “Aunt Mary, I really appreciate your help in taking Dana shopping for a new wardrobe. She… lost her belongings.”
“No worries,” Aunt Mary replied, her tone brisk and efficient. “Say the word, and I’ll be ready.”
“Thank you, Aunt Mary, you’re the best,” Tim said, his gratitude evident.
“Thank you, Mrs. Mary,” Dana added, but Aunt Mary waved her hand dismissively.
“Nonsense, girl. You’ll call me Aunt Mary as well, now that you’re my niece.” Dana’s eyes filled with emotion again, feeling the love and acceptance she had always longed for. After a lifetime of suffering, she never imagined that she would experience love and acceptance for the first time in her life. There were moments where she still had the impression that she was dreaming.
Before she could become more emotional, Tim gently took her by the hand. “Let me show you to our home, but before this we need to pass by pack’s clinic,” he said, leading her away from the
group.
They walked through the pack’s territory, the cool evening air refreshing against their skin. Tim pointed out various landmarks, sharing anecdotes and stories from his childhood. Dana listened, feeling the tension of the past few days slowly melt away.
As they passed by the pack clinic, Tim led Dana inside to meet Dr. Luigi. The kindly doctor greeted them with a warm smile. “Ah, our new Delta’s mate,” he said, extending a hand to Dana. “Welcome, I
am Doctor Luigi.”
Dana smiled shyly as she shook his hand. “Thank you, it is a pleasure to meet you.”
Dr. Luigi handed her a few bags of blood. “We always keep a stock prepared for you. I know certain

foods like rare steaks might help, but blood is still your main source of nourishment.”

“Thank you, Dr. Luigi,” Dana replied, grateful for the thoughtful gesture. She quickly quenched her
thirst, feeling rejuvenated.
Tim then guided her towards their home, a two-story house nestled at the edge of the pack’s
territory. The house exuded warmth and coziness, with a welcoming glow emanating from the
windows. Dana looked around in awe as Tim gave her a tour.
“This house belonged to my parents,” Tim explained, his tone softening with nostalgia.
“Where are they now?” Dana asked gently.
Tim’s face fell slightly. “They were killed in a rogue attack,” he replied, sadness lacing his words.
Dana hugged him tightly. “I’m so sorry, Tim.”
He hugged her back, comforting both of them. “They would have loved you, but I was lucky to still
have Aunt Mary,” he whispered.
Tears started to flow freely down Dana’s face as she buried her head in his neck. “I’m so sorry for
how I treated you. I hope you can forgive me.”
Tim smiled, kissing her hair. “There’s nothing to forgive. We’re in this together.”
He then took a deep breath, his expression turning serious. “I need to apologize too, for my lapse of judgment when I kissed that warrior. I’m not the cheating type, but the anger and hurt I felt were
overwhelming. Please forgive me.”
Dana looked up at him, her eyes filled with understanding. “As long as you don’t make a habit of it
each time we have an argument, you’re forgiven.”
They smiled at each other, their lips meeting in a hungry kiss. Tim pulled back slightly, a playful
glint in his eyes. “Now, I think it’s time to introduce you to our bedroom.”
