But to her surprise, he didn’t enter her, but continued to kiss her, while he kept on teasing her intimate entrance with his hardness. She never felt more desperate for something, as pleasure and frustration started to build inside her. All she knew was that she wanted him to just extinguish the fire in her lower abdomen. She tried to lift her hips to create more friction between them, but to her frustration, Markus kept her in place, trapped under his heavy body with limited space to move.
“Please,” she moaned to him, as she felt herself ready to implode, while making him smile predatory in her direction as he continued his exploration, playing with her n*****s, which were
rock hard and erect.
“Please what?” Markus asked with a playful smile.
She let an annoyed breath, “You know what.”
But he continued to kiss her while the tip of his c**k was teasing her entrance, while he started to enter her just with his tip, but not going further.
The movement was driving her crazy, as she passed over the embarrassment of how soaked she felt. All she wanted was for him to enter her … NOW.
She could see on his face how sweat gathered on his forehead from the control that he was
exerting.
“Please, Markus, I beg you. I need you inside…” she moaned in desperation as she looked into his eyes and when she met his gaze, she realized that he was at the limit as well.
“Markus, please, I want …” she added, but her words were interrupted by a hard knock on the door
which startled both of them.
Before getting the time to react, another strong knock on the door happened, while Azriel’s booming voice from the other side spoke, “Markus, wake up! We need you now, and it is really bad!
Markus froze on top of her but before getting the chance to react, the door opened wide open as a
frantic Azriel entered.
“Markus, sorry but it is urgent …” but he froze in his place, seeing the scene in front of him, which left him in shock. “For fuck sake!!! Damn it!” as he turned with his back to them while Kaia wrapped herself in the bed sheet mortified, while Markus recovered last night’s towel from the floor and
wrapped it around his waist.
“Privacy, Azriel. Privacy for fucks sake!” Markus growled in anger as he barely contained his anger.

Azriel growled, annoyed, “I understand that you are chosen mate, but damn it! Under my own roof?! She is my little sister. This is the reason you got your guest room!”
Markus growled back annoyed, “She is not so little anymore, we are both adults, and we don’t owe you any explanation. Now, what the hell is going on that you had to barge inside my room at 5am?!
“We have an emergency, and it is bad,” Azriel replied, his voice urgent. “I just received reports that at least four packs are experiencing outbreaks of the same plague-like mysterious disease caused by black magic. It’s spreading fast, Markus. This time, the infection rate is much higher, and a few hundred wolves are already infected. The situation is really, really bad, if not contained in time.”
Markus froze, his mind racing. The king training he had undergone came to the forefront, pushing aside the warmth of the morning. He immediately retrieved his mobile where he noticed an abundance of missed calls. Worried, he called his Beta and the Head royal healer, the urgency in his voice unmistakable. As the strong aura he released filled the room, Kaia could feel the shift in his demeanor from lover to leader, while she felt shivers down her spine and embarrassment when
she met Azriel’s conflicted gaze.
The news he received was grim. He ended the call, his expression somber as he turned to Azriel.
“It’s worse than we thought. There are now six packs affected, with hundreds of victims. And it’s spreading. Fast. I ordered immediate quarantine but… you know that there is no cure, except…”
Azriel’s eyes widened in shock. “Except the Goddess Gift.”
Markus took a deep breath, the weight of the situation heavy on his shoulders. “And that is not all. My Beta received a report from our spies. The vampires are on the move, testing some of the western packs. It seems that we’re not just dealing with a pandemic. We might be under attack as
well very soon.”
His last comment left both Azriel and Kaia frozen in shock.
