Outcast Queen: Her Return from Hell novel Chapter 426

Just a second ago, Isabella had controlled the entire rhythm of the visitation room.

The sudden shift in power was so jarring it sent a chill down her spine.

"Speak. What are you doing here?" Yara asked evenly.

Isabella took a deep breath, forcing down the turmoil in her chest. "Yara, I'm just visiting Cloudhaven to clear my head, and I thought I'd drop by to see you."

"Isabella, I know exactly what kind of person you are," Yara replied coldly, completely seeing through the pathetic lie. "A rabid dog like you wouldn't rest until you've turned Cloudhaven upside down."

"You really know me best," Isabella chuckled, her tone suddenly shifting. "But there are two people in Cloudhaven right now who don't seem to want me having any fun. Yara, you know who I'm talking about, don't you?"

Yara remained unfazed, merely looking down at her with cold indifference.

Realizing she wasn't getting a reaction, Isabella dropped the fake smile and got straight to the point. "Many years ago, I came to Cloudhaven and had a wild night with a man. Later, I had a daughter and sent her back to him."

"Unfortunately, I had an accident and lost those memories. I could have gone on living comfortably as the heiress of the Quincy Family. But fate is cruel, and it forced me to remember everything."

At this, the amusement vanished from Isabella's eyes, replaced by a bone-chilling hatred. "Yara, can you even imagine? The exact moment my memories came flooding back, I received the news of my own daughter's death... Do you have any idea how that feels?"

Yara remained silent, her gaze as still as dead water.

She didn't need to answer.

Because right now, Isabella was just using this as an excuse to bare her bloody fangs.

"Phoenix Prescott and Pierce Sterling," Isabella gritted out through clenched teeth. "I am going to end them."

"Heh," Yara suddenly smirked, letting out a mocking scoff. "Then I wish you success."

That casual insult instantly snapped Isabella's last nerve.

She slammed her hands on the table and bolted upright, shouting, "Yara! You used to be so arrogant! Now that I'm going to kill your protégé, Phoenix, is this really your reaction?!"

"Why should I care if you kill Phoenix?" Yara leaned back lazily, her posture indifferent. "She was just my cellmate for four years."

She paused, her dismissive gaze slicing across Isabella's face. "Besides, do you really think you can kill her?"
