Outcast Queen: Her Return from Hell novel Chapter 483

"Enough!" Quentin shouted sharply, rubbing his throbbing temples hard. The worst-case scenario had happened after all. "Send out the order immediately. Cripple Astraea Group's forces as fast as possible! Even if Phoenix escaped, I want her completely stripped of the capital to fight back!"

"Boom—!!"

Without warning, a deafening explosion ripped through the night sky.

The color instantly drained from the faces of Quentin, Emmett, and Isabella.

"What's going on?! Did Phoenix retaliate this fast?!"

"Boom!"

Another, even more violent explosion followed, shaking the floor beneath their feet.

The three people in the hall fell into absolute panic.

This was the Quincy estate, located in the most heavily guarded heart of Highcrest! For Phoenix to brazenly use grenades here... this was an open provocation against the authorities' bottom line!

"Let's go! Get out there and look! And get all the security personnel together!"

Quentin's face was as dark as storm clouds, murderous intent rolling in his eyes.

He wanted to see for himself just what kind of nerve Phoenix had to bring the war straight to his home base!

Beside him, Isabella was flushed with excitement, a bloodthirsty gleam in her eyes.

She had just been lamenting over not knowing where to find Phoenix, and now the prey had delivered herself right to their doorstep.

When they rushed out of the hall, the front yard was already in utter chaos.

Terrified staff and servants were running around like headless chickens. In the center of the lawn, two scorched craters smoked heavily, filling the air with the smell of explosives.

However, amidst the chaos, they were stunned to realize—there was no sign of any enemy intruders.

"Butler! What the hell is going on?!"

Quentin stared intensely at the two smoking craters, roaring in a rage, "Where are the attackers?!"

"Mr... Mr. Quincy..." The butler ran over, covered in soot, stuttering in his reply. "We only heard two massive explosions just now, but we haven't seen a single person break in! I suspect... someone threw the bombs remotely from outside!"

"Just threw bombs?!" Quentin froze.

Right then, a faint, rhythmic buzzing sound came from overhead. He instinctively looked up, only to see two miniature drones hovering eerily in the night sky above the Quincy estate.

"Is this a warning... or a show of force?!" Quentin's fists cracked as he clenched them, his gaze turning vicious.

"Wait, no!" A sudden flash of realization hit Quentin, his face turning deathly pale as an overwhelmingly intense wave of dread gripped his heart like a viper. "This looks more like a diversion!"
