Outcast Queen: Her Return from Hell novel Chapter 331

"The timing is far too perfect. Springing this on us barely an hour before the broadcast leaves us no room to think or strategize."

Barrett Lowery narrowed his eyes, his voice dripping with ice. "Plus, out in the open like that, there are too many variables. What if... Lewis Yardley turns on us at the last second?"

Those words were like a bucket of ice water, snapping Warren Prescott fully awake.

Just as Barrett pointed out, if Lewis flipped on them at the plaza, they'd have absolutely no way to control the narrative. Only in the confined space of a hotel could they manage any unforeseen disasters.

"Mr. Prescott, I'm simply voicing my concerns. But there's no denying that Lewis's proposal could deliver a fatal blow to Phoenix." Barrett's lips curled into a calculating smirk. "Now... it just depends on whether we want to take the gamble and bet that Lewis is still our loyal attack dog."

Warren rubbed his temples, agonizing over the decision.

He had already lost too much and was terrified of losing again. One more misstep, and he would be ruined beyond repair.

"Dad, I trust Lewis," Phoebe Prescott's urgent voice came through the speakerphone. "He's been under our strict surveillance this entire time. He hasn't had a single chance to contact the outside world. He won't double-cross us."

"Besides, Phoenix forced Pierce Sterling to intervene last night, even causing him to cut ties with his grandfather. That proves she's completely out of options!"

Phoebe's heart burned with toxic jealousy. Simply sending Phoenix back to prison was too light of a punishment; it wouldn't erase the humiliation she had endured recently.

She wanted Phoenix dead!!

"Phoenix is probably racking her brain trying to figure a way out of this right now. Having Lewis publicly call her out is like holding her feet to the fire. I refuse to believe she won't take the bait."

Warren exhaled heavily. "We can change the venue. But that means we'll need more manpower for crowd control..."

"Dad, pull the guys back from the other location," Phoebe suggested. "Phoenix's attention will be entirely focused on the livestream. She won't have the bandwidth to worry about anything else. We can easily divert those men to the plaza."

Hearing his daughter's idea, Warren slammed his hand on the desk, a ruthless glint flashing in his eyes. "Fine, we'll move the venue!"

Phoebe's eyes lit up. "I'll make the arrangements right away, Dad."

Soon after, a bombshell announcement exploded across the internet.

The family of the victim from the car crash four years ago would host a live broadcast at Pegasus Plaza, publicly exposing Phoenix's crimes.

Instantly, the city's media and independent journalists swarmed like sharks to blood, rushing to Pegasus Plaza to secure the best camera angles and feast on the massive surge of traffic.

...

Meanwhile, when Arthur Sterling and Alistair Prescott received the news, their expressions darkened.

"Why did you change the venue at the last minute?" Alistair immediately called Warren.
