Outcast Queen: Her Return from Hell novel Chapter 300

Silas slowly pushed himself off the floor, straightened his ruined clothes, and sat down in a chair.

He had given up completely. He just wanted to lose with whatever dignity he had left.

"I was the one who orchestrated the car crash back then," Silas stated flatly, as if recounting a trivial piece of gossip.

Whether it was because he knew he was doomed, or simply because he wanted to boast about his flawless execution, he chose to confess.

Pierce's eyes dilated with pure fury. He lunged forward, driving a brutal kick straight into Silas's chest.

Silas violently coughed up a mouthful of blood. The sheer force behind the kick proved Pierce had held absolutely nothing back.

Yet, Silas still managed to force a twisted, mocking smile. "Seeing you lose your mind like this puts my heart at ease. I may have lost the war for the company, but I left a permanent, bleeding scar on your soul."

"I want you to remember, every single night, that I was the one who murdered your mother."

"Silas!" Pierce roared, pulling back his fist to deliver a lethal blow.

But Phoenix had already moved. She grabbed his arm, catching the punch mid-air.

The kinetic force was horrifying. Even Phoenix felt a sharp numbness shoot up her arm. If that punch had connected, it would have instantly killed Silas.

"Pierce, don't you want to hear the entire truth? He won't survive another hit."

Phoenix's calm voice anchored his rampant, explosive rage, making him slowly lower his fist.

"Silas..." Phoenix turned to him, her voice icy. "Why did you arrange that crash? From what I know, your brother Percival treated you exceptionally well."

"Yet you ruthlessly murdered his wife."

"Percival was a hypocrite. Treating me well? He was just tossing me scraps to keep me satisfied so I wouldn't challenge him for the throne."

Silas's face darkened, his voice dripping with venom. "I designed that crash to make him suffer in agony for the rest of his life."

"It was more than that, wasn't it?" Phoenix stared at his twisted, hateful face. "Pierce was in the car too. You wanted Percival to lose absolutely everything."

"Exactly!" Silas admitted without hesitation. Having buried these rotting secrets for years, and now facing total defeat, he had nothing left to hide.

"I wanted Percival to lose everything and rot in eternal regret."

"We were both Arthur's sons. We should have stood on equal ground. But the old man played favorites. He elevated Percival, cementing his untouchable status in the company."
