My Unborn Baby Chose My Husband for Me novel Chapter 455

"Oh my gosh! Mommy and Daddy are so shameless, hugging in the parking lot! Little Bean sees everything!"

Seraphina released her grip and immediately jumped back from Lucian. She pretended to smooth out her shirt, a deep crimson spreading from the tips of her ears all the way down to her neck.

Lucian sat in his wheelchair, looking utterly unbothered.

A few yards away, Eleanor stood by the car, holding Little Bean.

Jasper was handling the stroller while Susan held a baby blanket. They were all staring right at them.

Eleanor's eyes crinkled with amusement. "Did I arrive too early?"

Seraphina bit her lip. "Grandma Eleanor."

Lucian glanced up. "Right on time to take me home."

Eleanor let out a soft huff of laughter. "If your doctor knew you were already getting handsy the second you left the ward, he'd probably drag you back in for another checkup."

Lucian didn't even flinch. "The doctor only banned strenuous exercise."

Seraphina shot him a panicked glare, her voice rising an octave. "Lucian!"

Little Bean pumped his tiny fists, his inner voice absolutely delighted.

"Daddy is such a faker! A minute ago he was begging Mommy to baby him, and now he's acting all stoic! I'm embarrassed for him!"

Seraphina nearly choked on her own spit. She reached for her son. "Grandma, let me hold him."

Eleanor handed the baby over and adjusted his tiny sunhat. "Little Bean missed his mother. He's been staring out the window the whole ride here."

Seraphina peppered his chubby cheeks with kisses. "Mommy missed you too."

Little Bean blew a happy drool bubble, his eyes sparkling.

"Mommy smells so good! Daddy just smells like jealousy. He's so sour it's making me want to sneeze!"

Seraphina's shoulders shook as a giggle escaped her lips.

Lucian raised an eyebrow. "What's so funny?"

"Nothing."

"Lying again."

"Mind your business."

He cast a disgruntled look at the baby in her arms. "The second he shows up, I cease to exist in your eyes."

Eleanor glared at him. "How old are you, picking fights with your own son for attention?"

Lucian sounded completely justified. "He's monopolizing my wife."
