"Everyone was also talking about how you were supposed to marry Sebastian," Seraphina said, casually setting her cup aside. "Remind me, how did that turn out?"
Sienna's face contorted, furious, her jaw clenched tight enough to crack her teeth.
Damn Seraphina, always hitting exactly where it hurts!
"You bitch, if it weren't for you, I'd already be married to him! I'm going to rip your mouth off!"
Zelda quickly grabbed her arm. "Sienna, stop. Don't fight her. If you put your hands on her, you're playing right into her trap."
"Mom, this is the bitch who slapped me in the parking lot!"
Sienna forcefully yanked her arm free from her mother's grip. "Why are you so scared of her, Mom? She's completely alone right now. What's she going to do?"
Seraphina leveled a calm gaze at her. "You want to hit me?"
Sienna pushed forward stubbornly. "So what if I do? There aren't any cameras in here."
Seraphina smiled. "Are you sure about that?"
Sienna instantly snapped her head up to scan the ceiling.
After a quick sweep, she found no trace of a camera. "Stop trying to bluff me, Seraphina. There's no way they'd put security cameras in a locker room."
Seraphina adjusted her towel calmly. "Cameras or not, it doesn't matter. I just have to scream, and my husband's men will be here in a heartbeat to snap you in half."
Sienna's confidence vanished. "You're only tough because of him!"
Zelda quickly pulled at her. "Let's go."
Sienna shot Seraphina one last venomous glare over her shoulder. "Don't get too comfortable. Revenge is a dish best served cold."
Seraphina raised an eyebrow. "Try learning some basic decency before quoting idioms at me."
Sienna opened her mouth to screech another insult, but Zelda physically dragged her down the corridor.
As their footsteps faded away, Seraphina didn't bother following them. Instead, her gaze shifted to the privacy curtain of the men's hot spring next door.
The exact place Zelda had just snuck out of.
A second later, the curtain was pushed aside.
Philip emerged, adjusting his bathrobe, a deeply satisfied expression plastered across his face.
Catching sight of Seraphina, he practically stumbled, his pace faltering.
He quickly smoothed his collar and plastered on an overly enthusiastic smile.
"Mrs. Langford, what brings you to this side? Where's my wife?"
Seraphina took in his flushed, flushed face.
"Were you in there alone just now, Mr. Yates?"
