Madly Yours (Nora Reed) novel Chapter 452

The late autumn morning sun cast a slanted golden hue over the massive structure.

The convention center was a triumph of modern design; its expansive glass facades reflected the sky in crisp, clean lines that stood out brilliantly against the surrounding older architecture.

Sienna was already waiting near the entrance. She wore a light camel trench coat over a white dress, her long hair loose down her back. She looked much healthier than she had just days prior.

"Norie!" she waved energetically, her eyes sparkling. Glancing over Nora's shoulder, she gave a warm nod. "Olive's here too?"

"Morning, Ms. Quigley!" Olive flashed a bright, toothy grin.

Nora linked arms with Sienna, giving her a quick once-over. "You feeling hundred percent?"

"Don't worry, eating well, sleeping like a log, and fully energized," Sienna said with a carefree laugh, patting her own arm.

Chatting and laughing, the two women headed into the exhibition hall.

The architectural exhibition was a massive event, taking up two entire floors.

A gigantic display board at the entrance featured the event's theme and a meticulously formatted roster of the participating architects.

The hall was already buzzing with people gathered in small clusters to snap photos.

Nora didn't know the first thing about architecture; she was purely there to keep her friend company.

But it was slightly odd—Sienna was a fine arts painter, a discipline worlds away from structural design. Nora had no idea why she was suddenly so invested in this.

What was even stranger was how distracted Sienna became the moment they walked inside.

She was smiling, but her eyes were unfocused. She would stare at a blueprint for ages, yet she clearly wasn't seeing it. It was as if she were looking right through the art, lost in the memory of someone far away.

"Sienna?" Nora waved a hand in front of her face.

Sienna snapped back to reality. "Oh? What is it?"

Sienna froze in her tracks, her expression suddenly unreadable.

"Sienna?"

Noticing her rigid posture, Nora followed her line of sight straight to the enormous blueprint.

It showcased an ambitious building complex featuring fluid lines and stunning spatial depth. The play of light and shadow was masterful, striking a gorgeous balance between understated elegance and striking modernism.

Even with zero background in architecture, Nora could tell the design was breathtaking.

But Sienna's reaction was intensely wrong.

Her lips were pressed into a thin, pale line, her brow furrowed in utter disbelief.

She stared at the stage as if she couldn't fathom how that specific blueprint had ended up there...
