Madly Yours (Nora Reed) novel Chapter 320

"Shut up. The lady doesn't want to see you."

"Bullshit!" Arnold's muffled, reedy voice shrieked from the ground. "She's my daughter! I raised her for ten years! She has no right to shut me out! Stay out of this, you hired thug. Eleanor! Eleanor! Your daddy is calling you! Don't you dare play deaf—"

Right at that moment, Olive returned with the drinks. Spotting the chaos from a distance, she dropped into a sprint and closed the gap in seconds.

"What the hell is going on?"

She took one look at the man pinned to the pavement, then registered the sheer, blood-drained terror on Nora's face. Without a moment's hesitation, Olive drew back her leg and delivered a vicious kick straight to Arnold's gut.

Arnold let out a sickening wheeze, curling into a tight ball. His face flushed a deep, ugly purple, the pain completely robbing him of breath to scream.

"You piece of shit. You dare harass our boss's wife? You really must have a death wish!"

Olive geared up for another kick, but Arthur threw his arm out to stop her.

"He claims he's her father."

"Bull-fucking-shit!"

She didn't buy it for a single second.

Nora was breathtaking—flawless skin, delicate features, and an elegance that made her look like she had stepped straight out of a painting.

This gross, pathetic excuse for a man was hideously ugly. There was no way in hell they were related.

"Who the fuck are you? Trying to pass yourself off as her dad? I'll rip your goddamn head off!"

Arnold laid in the dirt, clutching his stomach as he fought for oxygen.

Hearing Olive's insults, his face twisted in humiliated fury. "I am her biological father!" he shrieked. "Who do you think you are? You have no right to question me!"

He managed to prop himself up, his eyes fixating on Nora with a sickly, manipulative gleam. "Daddy's girl, why aren't you saying anything? Just call me Dad, and I'll forgive you for calling the cops on me all those years ago. How does that sound?"

"Shut the fuck up!"

Arnold scowled, opening his mouth to fire back, but Olive's fist was already flying toward his face.

*Crack!*

Her knuckles connected perfectly with his jaw. The lights immediately went out in Arnold's head, and he toppled backward, hitting the concrete like a sack of bricks. He was out cold.

"What are you standing around for? Call Dr. Harrison!" Olive barked at Arthur. She swept Nora up into her arms and sprinted straight for the airport's VIP lounge.

Arthur didn't waste a single second. He immediately pulled out his phone and dialed Liam Harrison's number.

Once he had clear medical instructions on how to manage a severe panic attack, he hurried toward the lounge to assist.

But just as he reached the doors, he froze, a heavy realization hitting him. After a tense moment of hesitation, he pulled his phone back out and dialed the one number he knew he had to call...
