Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 956

“Don’t even think about it,” Evan said coldly.

Having Stella serve as Amos’s long-term strategist would mean dragging her into far too many dangerous conflicts.

Amos’s position was already precarious enough.

The last thing Evan wanted was for Stella to remain entangled with him indefinitely.

Amos could dream all he liked, but Evan would never agree.

The only reason he had not intervened this time was that Felix and Aaron had gone too far.

They were actually considering trading Stella to General Litt for what they wanted.

Using Summer had already been difficult enough to tolerate.

Now they had set their sights on Stella herself.

Who could possibly accept that?

Amos pursed his lips.

“What do you mean, don’t even think about it? I didn’t force your wife to give me advice this time.”

“No. This time, you simply share the same enemies.”

Aaron Hogarth.

And Felix.

Thinking about how determined Stella was to strike back at them filled Evan with both satisfaction and bitterness.

He was satisfied because their own actions had finally come back to hurt them.

But he was bitter because they had put Stella through the same kind of betrayal all over again.

Returning to Eirden should have marked the end of her suffering.

Her life should have finally gone back to normal.

Instead, Felix and Aaron had destroyed that hope too.

A dangerous glint passed through Evan’s eyes.

“How is Litt doing now?”

“He’s focused almost entirely on me,” Amos replied. “You can probably make your move soon.”

Amos’s constant provocations had successfully drawn General Litt’s attention toward Seaborne.

If Evan appeared now, Litt would be completely unprepared.

Evan stopped exercising.

He walked over, picked up a bottle of water, and drank half of it in one go.
