Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 900

“I have to go?”

Stella closed her eyes.

A suffocating chill seemed to radiate from her entire body.

Jack nodded.

“Yes.”

“I don’t get to decide for myself?”

“Not right now.”

There were many things Jack could not explain.

And they were not his place to explain anyway.

His only task was to bring Stella to Felix.

She still did not move.

Jack glanced at his watch.

“If you still refuse, we’ll have to…”

“Use force?”

Stella cut him off.

Jack said nothing.

He simply looked at her in silence, confirming the rest without words.

Stella nodded.

“Fine. I’ll walk. Being dragged out of my own home would be humiliating.”

She slapped a hand against the armrest and rose.

She thought silently, Once I leave, I’m never coming back.

This place had turned out to be nothing but a cruel joke.

After only one glance, she looked away.

Jack seemed to understand what she was thinking.

“Don’t worry,” he said gently. “You’ll be back in no more than two weeks.”

Stella did not answer.

Back.

The word sounded ridiculous to her now.

She had no intention of letting herself become the punch line of the same joke twice.
