Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 891

Chapter 891

Felix’s chest tightened at the word using.

“Using you?”

“Am I wrong?”

Felix said nothing.

“What are you after in the Black Sea?” Stella asked. “Does it have something to do with the Hogarth family?”

Her voice turned even colder when she mentioned the Hogarths.

“But I’m afraid you’ll be disappointed. I’m not nearly as important to the Hogarth family as you seem to think.”

If she truly mattered to them, Aaron would never have treated her this way over Summer.

She finally understood how family ties measured up against their personal interest.

And she hated everything about it.

“Stella.”

“Summer is dead now. The only thing standing between us is gone. There’s nothing else left, and I don’t want there to be.”

Perhaps she really had fallen for Felix once.

But whatever feelings she had were now completely frozen over.

“Then tell me,” Stella said. “Why are you taking me to the Black Sea?”

Everyone knew what kind of place it was.

Why would Felix insist on bringing her there?

“I don’t feel safe leaving you here.”

Stella gave a cold laugh.

“This is my home. Are you saying I’m in more danger here than I would be with you?”

“Stella…”

“Felix, you no longer have the right to worry about my safety.”

That was how cold Stella had become toward him.

There was no warmth left in her at all.

Just as she had once treated Evan.

Once someone lost her trust, everything she did afterward was meant to create distance, never closeness.

Felix fell silent.

The words no right landed heavily in his chest.

“You said Summer’s half–sister wasn’t some great lost love of yours,” Stella continued. “Then why did you protect Summer so fiercely?”

Some things could not be revealed.

The situation was already complicated enough.

Explaining it would only make everything worse.

Felix wanted Stella’s world to remain as simple as possible.

She had always wanted a quiet life.

But the word coming made Stella’s expression turn completely cold.

“Oh, I’m coming?”

Felix said nothing.

“Not a chance.”

As far as Stella was concerned, Felix’s insistence on taking her to the Black Sea could only mean he intended to use her.

And she would never give him that opportunity again.

Even if he explained himself now, she would struggle to believe him.

But he refused to explain anything at all.

After throwing those words at him, Stella turned and headed upstairs.
