Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 889

The moment Stella reached the first floor, she asked the housekeeper to prepare a late–night meal.

The housekeeper immediately went to make the arrangements.

When Aaron emerged from his study, he found Stella sitting in the dining room.

The table was covered with all her favorite dishes.

Her appetite had suddenly returned.

Apparently, Summer’s death had put her in a much better mood.

Aaron walked over and planted both hands on the table.

“Tell me, how should I punish you?”

She was his biological sister, but the trouble this had caused still made him want to teach her a harsh lesson.

Stella merely shrugged.

“What do you want me to do, pay for it with my life?”

Aaron fell silent.

Her life?

Did she really think Summer meant anything to him?

He had only meant to frighten his rebellious little sister.

Instead, Stella’s response nearly made him choke with anger.

He turned and strode away.

As he left, he said, “There’s something you need to understand. When it comes to Summer, I’ve always been on your side.”

Stella found that statement almost laughable.

He was on her side?

He had just accused her the moment he heard Summer was dead and even threatened to punish her.

If he had truly been on her side, none of this would have happened in the first place.

Aaron left the castle.

Inside the car, he held a cigar between his fingers and spoke to Leah in the front seat.

“Keep a close watch on that man.”

His voice was filled with deadly coldness.

“Yes.”

“If he makes any move against Stella, take him down.”

Leah froze.

This was no small order.

The Hogarth family’s ties to that man ran far too deep, and he still held considerable leverage over them.

Aaron closed his eyes.

“What other choice do we have?”

They knew exactly what that man was capable of.

Summer was dead, and that placed Stella in serious danger.

Even with the Hogarth family protecting her, Felix did not feel she was safe.

Avdo hesitated.

“You mean…”

“Bring her by force if necessary.‘

Felix knew Stella would never willingly go to the Black Sea with him.

But he did not have time to explain everything to her now.

Avdo and Jack both fell silent.

Take her by force?

Was Felix serious?

That was the Hogarth estate.

“I’ll speak to Aaron,” Felix said. “No one will stop you. Just make sure you bring her.‘

Avdo understood.

There would be no resistance from the Hogarth family.

The only person who would fight him was Stella herself.

He nodded.

“Understood.”
