Chapter 881
Felix said it would never happen.
But Stella still did not believe him.
At this point, she would not believe a single word he said.
“Evan once said he could never have feelings for Summer either.”
“Stop comparing me to Evan.”
Felix’s tone turned cold at the mention of Evan.
Stella still had not recovered from everything Evan had put her through.
Felix did not want that shadow hanging over them forever.
Stella’s eyes chilled.
“I’m not giving Summer back to you.”
“You should accept that she’s already dead.”
Stella had never intended to turn this into a conflict with Felix.
This had always been between her and Summer.
Felix was the one who insisted on interfering.
Felix fell silent.
His breathing grew increasingly unsteady.
Stella ended the call. 2
She should never have wasted so many words on him.
On the other end, Felix listened to the disconnected line and rubbed his brow.
Jack entered with a grave expression.
“That person called.”
“What did he say?”
“He doesn’t believe Summer is dead.”
News that Summer had contacted Felix had not leaked yet, so that person still did not know the truth.
The call had clearly been made out of dissatisfaction.
Coldness flashed through Felix’s eyes.
“Does he know Stella took her?”
“Yes.”
Jack nodded.
Felix went silent.
He knew.
Then this had become much more complicated.
“This is going to be a problem.”
All this time, Felix had deliberately concealed the conflict between Stella and Summer from that person.
He had done it to keep Stella from attracting his attention.
But somehow, he had found out anyway.
“Leave us.”
“Speak.”
“That person knows Summer is still alive,” Felix said. “He also knows Stella took her.”
Silence fell over the line.
This was not good news.
When Stella returned to Eirden from Harbor City, every trace of her past there had been erased.
Most thoroughly concealed of all was her conflict with Summer.
They had cleaned everything up so carefully.
Yet that person had still discovered it,
Chapter 281
“I don’t know how he found out,” Felix said. “But he knows now.”
“Then we have a problem.”
Aaron’s voice turned icy.
“Did you know she plans to go to Ravaria? Felix asked.
“Yes. I refused to let her leave.”
Stella had told him the night before that she wanted to go to Ravaria, and Aaron frad rejected the idea then.
Now there was even less chance he would allow it.
That person knew about her conflict with Summer.
“Gray is secretly arranging the trip for her,” Felix said.
Aaron fell silent.
His mood had already been dark.
Now, after hearing that, the pressure surrounding him became even heavier.
