Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 826

Chapter 826

“Who Monique is like doesn’t matter to me. Leon and I are done.”

“Even if you want to break up, they may still try to scheme against you.”

Jennifer went quiet.

What kind of nonsense was that?

She already wanted out, and they were still going to scheme against her?

Could they be any more shameless?

“When I was trying to divorce Evan, the Wright family kept plotting against me too,” Stella said. “They were terrified we might actually split cleanly.”

Jennifer fell silent.

Then she started to understand.

“So you think they’re worried Leon and I might really break up, so they’ll keep coming after me?”

“That’s exactly it. Be careful what you say and do for a while.”

The last thing Jennifer needed was to fall into their trap.

“People like that might come after you just to protect their own interests. So be careful.”

Stella’s warning grew more serious.

To her, the Redson family was no different from the Wrights.

Those people did not value anyone else’s well-being.

If someone stood in their way or threatened what they wanted, they could become ruthless.

Just like Dora and Harold had been.

Jennifer’s stomach dropped.

“Then I need to end this pregnancy as soon as possible.”

She could not wait another day.

Monique showing up that morning to put her in her place and stir up so much trouble probably meant Leon had told his family about the pregnancy the night before.

And Jennifer had already seen exactly how the Redsons felt about the baby.

“Do you think Leon’s family knows you’re pregnant?” Stella asked.

“They probably do.”

“And what was their reaction?”

“What do you think? Vivian is still demanding I answer for Monique’s face.”

That was the Redsons’ response to Jennifer being pregnant,

Stella’s chest tightened.

“They really are just like the Wrights.”

And that lingering attachment had hurt her terribly.

“Okay,” Stella said quietly.

Then the conversation turned to Summer.

“Did your people find her?” Jennifer asked.

Summer was vicious.

Jennifer wanted to see her finally face the consequences too.

Stella took a breath.

“No.”

“Felix really is unbelievable.”

They had finally dragged Summer down.

All that was left was to see her pay for what she had done.

But no one understood why Felix had chosen to help her.

Back in Harbor City, Felix had been the person Stella trusted most.

Aaron was far away in Eirden.

Felix had been the only person in Harbor City Stella truly believed she could rely on.
