"No police."

"Does it hurt?" he asked.

Grant didn't reply. He just stared at Finn's hands, his eyes growing misty.

He suddenly remembered a time when Finn was little. The boy had fallen and scraped his knee, and Grant had knelt down to dab antiseptic on the wound.

Finn had bitten his lip, refusing to cry, and Grant had patted his head, telling him it was 'nothing.'

It was one of the very few memories he had of being a gentle father to him.

After that, it had never happened again.

He had been too busy running the company, too busy grooming Ford, too busy attending endless networking dinners.

He had completely forgotten that his youngest son needed him too.
