I Stopped Loving Him When He Let Me Bleed Out novel Chapter 207

Sienna finished the sentence for her.

Yolanda's face turned completely ashen, her voice cracking in panic.

"What nonsense are you spouting?! This is outrageous! You're slandering me, I could sue you for this!"

Grant's expression shifted drastically.

If this kind of accusation got out, the Fletcher family would be turned upside down.

Fortunately, the crowd had already been dispersed, so very few people heard Sienna's claim.

Grant shot another look at his subordinates.

Instantly, someone pulled the breaker.

The lights died.

The once brilliantly illuminated banquet hall was plunged into pitch-black darkness; you couldn't even see your hand in front of your face.

A voice echoed in the dark, composed and polite.

"Apologies, everyone, we've had a sudden power outage. Please head home safely. The Fletcher family will reach out to offer our apologies at a later date."

The remaining guests shuffled toward the exit in the darkness.

Nobody complained. Nobody dared to ask questions.

Finn reacted the fastest.

The second the lights went out, he lunged to Sienna's side.

In the pitch black, he reached out and yanked her entirely into his embrace.

His arms banded tightly around her, pressing her face against his chest.

His heart was hammering so wildly she could count every frantic beat.

"Don't be afraid. Stay close to me."

He was terrified.

Terrified that his father and brother were going to hurt her.

But Sienna didn't move with him.

"Don't be stubborn. You've done what you came to do. You're only one person; this is the best outcome you can hope for right now." His voice was hushed, laced with desperate urgency.

Sienna listened to his voice and the frantic thud of his heartbeat.

The two sounds blurred together, washing over her from all sides like a tidal wave.

She closed her eyes for a brief second.

"Finn, no one is going to stop me from doing what I have to do."

The lights flickered back on.

The guests were completely gone.

The massive banquet hall felt suffocatingly empty.

Only the Fletcher family members and Sienna remained.

Grant's voice echoed through the vast space.

"Miss Sterling, you have ruined our family's gala today."

"Father, let Sienna go. She is the victim here. I've looked into what Mother did, and it's our family that owes her."

"Shut your mouth, you traitor!"

Grant's voice rumbled deep from his chest like thunder.

"Father, what are you doing?!"

Sienna simply tossed the flash drive onto the nearest table.

"If you want it, take it."

One of the men immediately grabbed the drive and plugged it into a laptop.

The screen lit up. The subordinate held the laptop in one hand, angling it for Grant to see.

Grant clicked the mouse, flipping through the files one by one.

His finger paused.

He clicked to the next file.

He paused again.

He slowly raised his head and locked eyes with Yolanda.

His gaze was like a scalpel, carving into her face.

"Look at what you've done."

Yolanda was hyperventilating.

It wasn't just about the things she had done; it was the fact that Sienna had mentioned Quincy Quinn's name.

How could she possibly know about Quincy?

How on earth did she get her hands on this evidence?

Those two questions coiled around her heart like vipers, squeezing tighter and tighter.

Grant slammed the laptop shut and let a heavy silence stretch out for a few seconds.
