Seeing the absolute resolution in her eyes, Hayden knew he wouldn't get another chance.

He finally relented.

"Fine. You arrange the home visit with the Military Personnel Command. We'll find a time to finalize the paperwork."

Zoe nodded and picked up her bag. Hayden swallowed the bitter lump of depression in his throat and forced out two words.

"Delete me."

He watched with cold eyes as she walked out of the suite, a near-joyous bounce in her step.

Hayden followed her out.

"Zoe Lynd! What are you doing here? Still trying to seduce him?"

Sienna had been looking for Hayden for ages, but he hadn't answered a single call or text.

Unable to bear the suspense, she had tracked him down, only to see Zoe walking out of Hayden's private suite.

She had been to Thorne Enterprises a few times and knew the suite had a bed where Hayden rested.

It was a massive bed. She had dropped hints before, offering to keep him company when he worked late, but Hayden had never let her inside.

Sienna couldn't fathom how, in just a few short days, Zoe had the absolute audacity to pull strings and waltz right into his corporate headquarters.

She was already drowning in debt; seeing this ignited a massive inferno of rage, panic, and jealousy in her chest.

Zoe looked at Sienna with pure disgust.

"No one is trying to seduce your man. You can keep him. I have zero interest."

Sienna completely rejected Zoe's words.

"You just walked out of his bedroom and you're claiming you didn't? Zoe, you and Hayden are divorced! You've already got the papers! Why won't you just give up? He doesn't love you at all!"

Hayden, who had just stepped out of the suite, caught the tail end of Sienna's aggressive shrieking.

"Are you blind or just a lunatic?" Zoe shot back. "Does walking out of a room mean I slept with him? Though, for the record, we have slept together. We even have kids. Does that piss you off?"

Sienna was completely stunned.

Not just by Zoe's brazenness, but because Hayden was standing right there.

Hayden stood just behind Zoe, his expression dark and terrifying.
