After his conversation with Zoe, Hayden had Justice draft the agreement and deliver it straight to the security gate at the National Space Agency.

Once the call was finished, Hayden saw Zoe deep in an enthusiastic conversation with the others. His eyes darkened, and he took long strides toward them.

"Ms. Lynd, come to the control room with me."

Everyone turned to look at him.

Everyone was completely baffled.

They were perfectly fine, running visual flexibility tests on the AI units. Why on earth did they need to go to the control room now?

This time, Zoe didn't reject his demand.

After Harvey hit a brick wall, Timothy gave him a meaningful look.

"Commander Thorne's relationship with Ms. Lynd is different from the rest of us. She used to be his secretary."

Harvey listened, only half-understanding.

So what if she was a secretary? Her current status far exceeded that of a mere assistant, and she held more weight with the top brass than either of them did.

Timothy patted Harvey on the shoulder. "Come on. Let's keep an eye on the project."

He secretly hoped Hayden had pulled Zoe away to quickly finalize their private matters.

Naturally, he wouldn't tell Harvey that Zoe and Hayden were actually married, let alone that they were on the verge of divorce.

It was better if fewer people knew about such things.

Zoe walked into the control room, her expression thoroughly indifferent.

Hayden couldn't control her anymore. Ian's registry was safely under the Kendall family's name, so whatever tricks Hayden tried to play were useless.
