Sienna choked, forcefully coughing up the piece of apple she had just bitten into.

Seeing her daughter gasp for air, Mrs. Winters quickly leaned over. "What's wrong?"

"Hayden is officially suing Sterling Group for breach of contract. The partnership is completely dead."

Mrs. Winters waved a hand dismissively, not grasping the gravity of the situation.

Julian, noticing Sienna's stunned silence, shrugged. "Well, we still get the massive penalty payout, right? Sounds like a win to me."

Sienna gave a vague nod. "Julian, Megan, keep Mom company. I'm going upstairs."

She hurried back to her bedroom and opened the hidden safe in her closet, pulling out a dusty, square lockbox.

Inside was a thick stack of photographs.

Sienna slowly flipped through them. Every single picture showcased Zoe at her absolute lowest, humiliating herself to beg for Hayden's love. There were photos of her staging desperate suicide attempts, stalking him, sobbing on her knees, and covered in self-inflicted wounds.

The photographer had expertly kept Hayden's face out of the frame, entirely focusing on the visceral horror of Zoe acting like a lunatic obsessed with a man who didn't want her.

Sienna even dug out a copy of Zoe and Hayden's marriage certificate. She meticulously cropped out Hayden's name and ID number. There was no photo of the happy couple—just the cold, bureaucratic stamp of the state.

She snapped a Polaroid of the altered certificate, placed it on top of the damning photographs, and ordered an elite, anonymous courier service via an app on her phone.

When the courier arrived outside the estate, she handed over the box and gave him the delivery address.

"Mom, Julian, Megan—I have to run an errand."

She didn't tell them what she was doing. Sienna operated best in the shadows. When she made a move, she didn't even trust her own family with the details.

She slid into the driver's seat of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Hayden had bought her and headed straight for the Kendall Estate.

She had previously done some subtle digging with Grandmother Beatrice, pretending to be concerned that Garrett had inappropriate feelings for Zoe. The old woman had let it slip that Garrett's parents and his grandfather, Arthur Kendall Sr., all lived together at the main estate.

Perfect. She would let the entire Kendall dynasty see that Zoe was a deranged, divorced stalker. She couldn't wait to see their reaction.

With her tinted window rolled halfway down, Sienna watched through designer sunglasses as the Kendall family butler carried the anonymous box inside the sprawling mansion.

A triumphant smirk curled her lips. She revved the Cullinan's engine and drove away into the night.

Inside the mansion, the butler placed the box carefully on the living room table.

Sylvia broke down, sobbing uncontrollably.

"Our poor Zoe... how could she have suffered like this? The Thorne family is supposed to be respectable! How could they torture someone else's daughter this way?"

She wept as though her heart was being ripped out. Mr. Kendall's hands shook violently as he flipped through the rest of the agonizing images.

"That little bastard Hayden... he's worse than a dog. I used to think he was at least an honorable man, better than his father. It's all bullshit!"

Arthur was panting, his face red with fury. Mr. Kendall quickly wrapped an arm around him to steady him.

"Where is the person who delivered this?" Mr. Kendall demanded, his voice a low, lethal growl.

"It was an app courier, Sir. He left immediately," the butler answered.

Unable to help himself, the butler cast a fleeting glance at the photos scattered on the table. A cold shiver raced down his spine.

The sheer despair in the young woman's eyes was gut-wrenching. The images of her kneeling on the pavement, the dark stains on her wrists... it wasn't just abuse. It looked like someone had been slowly trying to murder her soul.

How could anyone be so monstrous?
