I heard he didn't even show up to the Kendall family's adoption banquet. A guy that pathetic is exactly why she needed to find a real protector out here.”

“Who knows what kind of lies Zoe has been spinning since she joined Sterling. We didn't say a word when she latched onto the Kendall family, but now she's subtly dragging the Thorne name through the mud.”

For once, Ethan fully agreed with Sienna. He scoffed, “Manipulative women never last. But actively trashing her own husband to climb the ladder? Zoe really is in a league of her own.”

Hayden's footsteps stuttered to a halt, a dangerous glint flashing in his dark eyes.

“Am I the husband she's degrading?”

He strode forward on long legs, leaving them behind. Sienna quickly quickened her pace to keep up.
