Sienna stared at Holden's swollen face, her heart aching violently.

Hayden's expression was equally thunderous.

"Your car?"

Sienna let out a bitter scoff.

"Yes, the pink Maserati."

Sienna's eyes hardened. That gorgeous car parked under the massive oak tree actually belonged to Zoe.

Didn't she transfer every penny to my account? Where did she get the money for a car like that?

And to buy something so ridiculously expensive without her permission.

Hayden had no idea Zoe had been funneling money to her, so Sienna had to swallow her furious questions for now.

"Even if Holden scratched your car, we're family. Kids play rough, so why are you throwing a tantrum? This is a private matter. How could you even think about calling the cops?"

Zoe let out a sharp, incredulous laugh.

Sienna had never once treated her like family.

But the second her son crossed the line, suddenly they were playing the family card to keep the police away.

Who the hell wanted to be family with them?

"Pay for the repairs, or pay cash."

She had zero patience for Sienna's nonsense.

"I'll cover it. Put it on my tab."

Hayden finally spoke up, ignoring Zoe as he crouched down to coax the thrashing Holden into his arms.

With the boy's face swelling so badly, he needed to get him to the hospital immediately.

He would settle the score with Zoe later.

Sienna hovered anxiously behind Hayden, shooting Zoe a venomous glare.

No matter what Sienna did, Hayden barely gave her the time of day.

If she thought she could use this to make him care about her, she was sorely mistaken.

Suddenly, Holden broke free from Hayden's grip.

He charged straight at Lily.

Lily was caught completely off guard, and by the time Zoe reacted, it was too late.

"Mommy!"

Lily was knocked to the ground, bursting into tears from the sharp pain.

"Ugly freak's daughter! I'm not paying for your stupid car. Blegh!"

Holden made a grotesque face. When Lily fell, she had hit her forehead on the corner of the table, and a large welt was already forming.

Backed by Hayden and Sienna, Holden wasn't afraid of Zoe in the slightest.

It was always like this. Hayden pushed her to the absolute brink of humiliation every single time.

Their daughter was standing right there. This was going to traumatize her.

"I gave you plenty of chances. You threw them away."

This time, Hayden had no intention of indulging her.

Lily sobbed, struggling to catch her breath.

"Daddy, don't take Mommy! The mean boy is the bad one!"

Her tiny body stood protectively in front of her mother.

But against these towering bodyguards, her efforts were heartbreakingly useless.

Hayden frowned, his gaze sweeping over Lily.

"Take the little one, too."

He hurried away, cradling Holden against his chest.

Sienna didn't rush after him immediately. She turned back, her teeth bared as she glared at Zoe and Lily.

"Bring them straight to the hospital."

She wanted Lily's blood.

And she wanted Zoe to watch helplessly as her daughter was drained to save Holden.
