I Fell for the Man Who Ruined Me, Then He Forgot He Ever Loved Me Back novel Chapter 337

Sienna stiffened completely.

She instantly sucked in a breath.

She jerked her head around, her lips brushing against Jorrod's. As their gazes tangled, the man's eyes darkened. He took full advantage, cupping her cheeks and kissing the lips she had accidentally offered up.

Sienna couldn't push him away, so she turned her head to dodge again. But Jorrod took whatever he could get, smoothly moving to the shell of her ear.

Her mind went blank as a warm, wet sensation enveloped her earlobe. A sharp nip from his teeth bit down and ground against the edge just hard enough to make her gasp.

Instantly, it felt like electricity surged from her ear straight down her spine. Sienna's entire body went numb.

The breathing in her ear grew heavier. She couldn't stop her body from sliding down, but the man's strong arm caught her waist, holding her up.

Unable to push him off, Sienna gritted her teeth. "Juli..."

Before the name could fully form, a sharp jolt of stimulation hit her ear. Jorrod had taken her earlobe into his mouth, sucking on it wickedly.

Sienna closed her eyes and gasped again.

Without even saying goodbye, she abruptly hung up the phone.

She tossed the phone onto the counter, shoved the man in front of her with both hands, and swung at his shoulder.

Jorrod was leaning down, and the hand she flung out coincidentally smacked right into his face.

Smack. The sound was exceptionally crisp.

Sienna froze for a second.

Slapping a face was a move she had only ever used on an ex-boyfriend.

Jorrod wasn't angry. Instead, the corners of his lips curled up. He caught her hand, kissed her palm, and then wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her into his embrace.

They held each other tightly, chests pressed together. His burning body heat transferred to her through the two layers of fabric, and his powerful heartbeat hammered against her chest.

Now that the phone was hung up, and the sudden slap still seemed to sting her palm, she didn't push him away.

No one dared to, and no one could easily get away with it.

Sienna immediately countered, "You definitely got spanked by the nurses when you were born."

And he probably cried, too.

"Yeah, you're right." The man let out a low laugh and lifted his head. Sienna saw that handsome face bearing a faint smile as he looked down at her.

As their eyes met, the smile faded. He suddenly parted his lips. "Then tell me, am I right?"

Sienna didn't follow. "About what?"

"Being your lover." He leaned in a half-step closer, his knee naturally pressing between her legs, holding her securely in place. "Isn't this what a lover does? Taking every chance to do something shameless and out of line just to get you to look at me a little more. Like, just now."

"If I can't even do that, then what kind of lover am I? People who didn't know better would think I was the official boyfriend."

His logic was so sound it actually made Sienna laugh.
