Her friend nodded in realization. "Oh, that makes sense. I was wondering why you were kissing up to an outsider when your own family married in."

Seraphina didn't respond, simply picking up her pace and marching forward.

Over in the executive lounge, Jarrod ended his call with Eleanor, cast a cool, indifferent glance in Seraphina's direction, and walked away.

Stella couldn't find Jasper anywhere.

Just thirty minutes ago, he had been joyriding in the free-roaming field.

She guessed Jasper realized his two hours were almost up and purposely went into hiding.

He wasn't answering his phone, and the kids he was riding with claimed they hadn't seen him.

Even though the club was highly secure, the sheer size of the estate made Stella anxious that he might have gotten hurt.

After searching everywhere to no avail, she was on the verge of calling security.

Just as she was heading to the front desk to ask for security footage, her phone buzzed. It was Eleanor.

"Jarrod caught him! They're over by the men's locker rooms. Go grab him and bring him home."

Stella had updated Eleanor on the situation earlier but hadn't expected her to involve Jarrod.

She hadn't spotted Jarrod in Chloe's VIP room, so she assumed he hadn't come.

So he was here after all.

It seemed Chloe's friends were right. Jarrod really did spoil her, accompanying her to things like this.

Regardless, she was just relieved Jasper was found.

Stella told Eleanor she was on it and ended the call.
