Sebastian remained thoroughly uninterested. "Didn't you say they filed for divorce? Why is Jarrod parading her around town?"

"Isn't it obvious? Jarrod doesn't want to divorce her!"

Julian pushed on, "You have no idea. The other day at the lounge, some guys were harassing her, and Jarrod beat those two creeps up on the spot and carried her out! When they walked in just now, he had her link arms with him and intentionally slowed his pace to match hers!"

"I bet you anything, this divorce isn't happening!" Julian declared with absolute certainty.

Sebastian couldn't care less about betting with Julian. "Whether Jarrod gets divorced or not is his business. Let's stay out of it."
