Once Lucca and his crew were gone, Aria stared at their retreating backs for a few seconds before her expression finally relaxed.

"What's up? Do you know those rich guys?"

Cassidy walked over to Stella, noticing her lingering gaze, and asked curiously.

"I somewhat know one of them," Stella replied.

"They were definitely here for that beer promoter. Flaunting their cash, treating the poor girl like a stray cat to toy with."

Cassidy suddenly sighed in admiration. "In comparison, I actually think Mr. Fuller is a great guy. He's rich, powerful, and gorgeous. If he wanted to mess around, he'd have an army of women throwing themselves at him."

Ever since Jarrod publicly claimed Stella as his wife in the elevator, Cassidy had been viewing him through rose-colored glasses, convinced he could do no wrong.

Stella glanced at Cassidy, too exhausted to even bring up Chloe.

But Cassidy caught her look and immediately rushed to his defense. "I bet Director Huxley and Mr. Fuller are strictly professional! All those pregnancy rumors are definitely just a hoax!"

Stella said nothing. Since Jarrod hadn't shown his face in days, she hadn't had the chance to bring it up with him.

By the time Stella and Cassidy sat down, their coworkers had already ordered the food. A few promoters approached the table to pitch their beers.

Aria was one of them. Stella glanced at the timid girl and ordered a dozen bottles from her.

Aria shot her a grateful smile. "Thank you, miss."
